The Specials - Paredes de Coura

evening all.just got back today from a weekend in dublin and while i was there got a cd of odds 'n sods from my mate gibbo.first up is a video from the specials show at the paredes de coura festival recently.im guessing its a fan shot video but its great quality in both audio and video.a word of warning though,this isnt the full show unfortunately but the first 3 songs only.you get 'do the dog,'dawning of a new era' and 'gangsters'.im assuming that the original recorder did the whole show so im wondering if anyone out there in interweb land has a recording of it?if so please get in touch with a link etc.thanks very much.so then put this on a disk,watch it on your 50" plasma cinemascopic fuel injected surround sound 3d televisual image projecting units,dance around and then leave a comment.thanks!

P.I.L - Commercial Zone

an interesting post for all the p.i.l fans out there in interweb land.its an album of studio recordings by pil recorded in 82-83 and released in 83 by guitarist keith levene.basically after he left the band he did a bunk to new york with the master tapes and sold the rights to the material and had several hundred copies pressed onto vinyl without permission from any of the other p.i.l band members.anyway this set includes five songs that were re-recorded for p.i.ls 4th album so this is almost a demo/early version type of thing of that album.anyhoo id like you all to listen,enjoy and then should you so desire leave a comment.thanks!

The Cramps - Live 1990

evening all.many years ago i bought this bootleg from a stall in camden market.it had this show on one side and one from the ramones recorded in sheffield in 87.it was part of the bbc 'in concert' series and had spoken intros about the band giving a brief history of each one etc and then there was several songs from each band recorded at each venue.anyway after many years of hunting i finally have the cramps part of this bootleg.i got it from camden dave (cheers dave!) recently and it is one of the best cramps boots ive heard.its only 8 songs long but each ones a cracker.hearing this again after so many years brings lots of great memories flooding back.so if like me you remember hearing this on one of those camden cassette bootlegs with the photocopied onto yellow paper cover,then this ones for you.it is a really great set that deserves to be played loud.so please listen,enjoy and if you have a moment leave a comment.thanks!
