CHRISTOFFER FRANZEN, the man behind cinematic powerhouse Lights & Motion, has released a dreamy new ambient collection of 13 connected instrumental tracks titled Reflections. For over a decade now, Franzen's music has been a resource for cutting-edge creatives who recognize that music and visuals share the stage equally on screen and understand the power of the right composition to maximize the success of any project.

"The songs on Reflections are all based around atmospheres, emotional electric guitars and piano. I wanted to create something that sounded beautifully cohesive, something that you could put on and listen to from start to finish, something to help relieve feelings of anxiety or difficulties sleeping, something to help you drift off. There are 13 tracks in total, but really it’s one single piece of music (37 minutes long) that stays within the same space. The majority of the music on this album is grounded firmly on earth, in contrast with my Lights & Motion catalogue which tends to have an ascending feel to it, constantly reaching upwards. I wanted it to feel like a warm and safe space, like the soundscapes are hugging you, abstractly speaking. My hope is that people will put on the first track, and then listen through to the very end in one sitting. Not thinking about what song is playing, just get lost in the music and the sonic textures. I think we need to shut the world out every now and again, and this will help you do that," says Franzen.
