* Los Angeles — George “Funky” Brown, the co-founder and longtime drummer for the funk/soul band Kool & The Gang, died here Nov. 16. Brown co-wrote the song “Ladies Night,” which Frank sang in a host segment in episode 407- THE KILLER SHREWS.

* Joel has announced another title that he would like to riff in season 14 … and it is none other than the Ed Wood classic “Plan 9 From Outer Space.
