Two 180s in one day. That has not happened in months. (10 months . . . I looked.)

I fear it means that me and the Loxley Robins will have to have THAT TALK: "It's not you, it's me . . . actually it's you."

 I will not lie: my first T18 was not deliberate. 

Ho hum . . .

Yesterday, my first dart of the day . . . my first dart of 2022 . . . didn't even hit the board. Today I hit a 140 with my first 3 darts of the day.

I'll never understand this game.

'Is it still 2021 and nobody told me?'

I'm walking back from this previous statement. The Loxley Robins - for the foreseeable future - will be my dart of choice. I hope it works out for me.

Just like when you were kid when you would go outside for a kickabout after watching a cup final, I picked up my darts after watching today's World Championship Darts. I'm really enjoying the Loxley Robins darts now.

They are not just a novelty, gimmicky dart.

• Absolutely beautiful to look at.
• (For me) absolutely horrible to throw. Too smooth. I need a knurled barrel.
• All the more surprising to hit a 180 with them. Never again.
