Metro No. 2

A revision of Metro which was released about two years earlier. Its shapes were more conventional for geometric sans serifs of the day. The first style, Metroblack No. 2 was issued in 1931. [Shaw]

Digital versions include Metrolite #2 (Linotype, 1 style), CG Gothic No2 & No3 (Compugraphic, 2 weights), Geometric 415 (Bitstream), DH Sans (FontHaus), Grosse Pointe Metro (GroupType, 2009; all with 3 weights plus italics), and the extensive Metro Nova (Linoype, 2013).
