What’s a song with no (or almost no) vocals that makes you feel EXACTLY what the title depicts
discussion

For me it’s:

Supervillain Theme - Madvillain

The melody is kinda basic and the song isn’t that long but it encapsulates the eerie feeling it was going for so well

Jason Terry developed a machine learning model to spot a new planet outside the solar system. Great work happens on Mac.

Intense songs where it sounds like the singer's life depends on it?

While Thong Song isn't among my top 100 songs of 1999, it's very effective in transporting me back to 1999. I just crack up at the YT comments, like "He sang like his life depended on it!"

What other songs come to mind that share that kind of intensity?

Is there a live performance that you keep going back and watching?
discussion

Every once in a while I get that itch to go back and watch Prince play guitar in the George Harrison tribute, “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” where Prince just nails the solo, or Shane Hawkins playing “My Hero” with the rest of the band at his fathers tribute concert. It’s moments like these that can bring me to tears, and also show how awesome music is and how emotional it can be. What do you always go back to watch again?
