We condemn the attacks

Rough draft, dedicated to the Ankara bombing victims:

We condemn the attacks
Because they weren’t attacks of our own
Is the camera ready
Too bad about those bloody bodies
Ok
I’m on
We condemn the attacks
Though we don’t know who did them
We’ll fit it into our narrative
We’ll make it work
And hush your questions of cui podesta
We condemn the attacks
Because they got there first
Heard they were dancing & singing
Probably dirty communist anthems
Tell me when the mic is live
We condemn these attacks
In the firmest possible terms
Condemnation served
With the firmest possible lips
We re-commit our bombers to some other conflict
We stand with the leaders the slain were being arrested by
Having their offices trashed by
Having their homes burned by
Being tortured by
Because today Turkiye is one nation
And we stand with the nation we expect them to be
And press heels into what could be
We condemn these attacks
We stand by violent authorities
We stand by brutality
Our news media may blame the victims
The subject peoples
May speculate
This was just a clash of civilizations
Not a slaughter of parliamentary oppositions
Ahead of parliamentary elections
But we in the west
Do what we do best
We condemn terrorism
That ephemeral antichrist
With cameras on
We console the families
And when the cameras are off
Before any investigation’s official
We congratulate the beneficiaries
We cash out
And a voice responds
“Condolences should be addressed to the people”
