CURRENT POSTING SCHEDULE: Whenever
Different SuperHeroes have different methods of watching over their turf. Some Lurk. Some Patrol (usually hidden from view). Some even Mingle. Some merely wait for a Registry Alert. And some Invest and build a Watch Point. (That's the standard Registry designation. The Heroes tend to refer to them as Bases and Secret Headquarters and other such names)
With Blue Dragonfly, it's the latter - a perch constructed in the high ceilings of the Hell's Toilet cavern. From her central Command Chair, the projected Security Grid (yes, even Grids are Hexes around here) gives her a real-time overview of the status of the Hall - all of the Seven Halls, actually. Her system is far more than is really required. The area displayed in front of her covers Hell's Toilet while the rest of the Colony Proper is represented by the wrap-around area of the sphere. Individual Incident Icons represent type of Alert - Major Damage, Citizen Danger, System Disruption, Death, etc.,. The mounted Display Monitor provides specific details, perhaps video relay, and any related data - such as Perpetrator Profile if the instigator is known.
As we can see, Blue Dragonfly has access to a fairly sizeable operational fund to build her Watch Point, even if she can't figure out what to call it.
Her Nest? Dragons Nest, but Dragonflies don't - they just lay their eggs in water with no worries about any sort of 'home' for them.
Her Lair? Again, good for Dragons, but Dragonflies...? Not so much.
Her Hive? Sounds more insect, but it sounds like a collective. Or a SuperVillain group.
The Dragonfly's Eye? At least descriptive, but a bit awkward to use in a sentence unless shortened to just "The Eye" for a casual reference.. But, maybe...?
These were the sort of thoughts occupying Blue Dragonfly's head until Alert Icons suddenly started popping up, one after another in rapid sequence - unlike anything she'd ever seen before. For a moment, she's frozen with thoughts of Invasion - another race of Xenos come to Take or Break PoD9.
But only for a moment. She will be in motion just after this image. Behind her, the HT Tunnel hatch has automatically opened when the first Alert sounded, and it's a straight run to the exit hatch in cavern roof above the Toilet.

Why the Tunnel? Can't she just jump over the front edge?
Why not call it The Pad as in Lilly Pad. Dragonflies rest on them all the time around here.
Can her Power Blasts take out MMPs? And how many can she use in a short time?
Defensive purposes. The Watch Point isn't on the surface, it's buried in the stone with only the secured Tunnel access to the Toilet. (Plus a Registry Portal and a personal TransMat access within the Watch Point)
And that tunnel hatch is hidden up on the cavern ceiling, so it's pretty hard for most to access.
Not a terrible idea. She's been shying away from the water aspects, but that's more indirect. A bit casual in the connotations - kind Austin Powers. But workable.
We're going to find out, eh?
And we'll see another weapon in action, as teased above.
It's called Hell's Toilet. Is Pee in the Toilet a stretch?
No, not in the least. Just ask Pia about the teasing she's gotten.
But it sure wouldn't be long before a pack of Dr. Nocturn's Nurses were climbing up over such a balcony if it existed.
Would make a nice image, though.
You're right in thinking that a depleting power pool is a concern. And that's a part of why we'll be seeing that other weapon in action.
As we've seen, our Blue Dragonfly zaps back...!
