I live in a fairly conservative Asian country so this is one of those things which have always seemed bizarre to me. While weed probably isn't inherently harmful, the whole "IT'S LITERALLY A DRUG!!" thing has always been deeply ingrained in my mind. I see people on reddit talk about how their parents openly smoke weed and it always gets a wtf reaction from me. My family is fairly liberal and if anyone in my family smoked marijuana, it'd probably tear us apart. I know that reddit can be a bubble at times, so I just wanna confirm; is cannabis really that accepted in the States?
