an interesting one for clash completists is this long out of print album from one time clash member keith levene."This was Levene's first proper release. 12 tracks mostly made up of instrumentals or cover versions. The majority of tracks come from his two previous EP releases" (from wikipedia).two of the cover versions are the ska classics 'liquidator' and 'double barrel'.its an interesting album and one you should like.so now you just have to listen,enjoy and leave a comment.thanks!

P.I.L - Commercial Zone

an interesting post for all the p.i.l fans out there in interweb land.its an album of studio recordings by pil recorded in 82-83 and released in 83 by guitarist keith levene.basically after he left the band he did a bunk to new york with the master tapes and sold the rights to the material and had several hundred copies pressed onto vinyl without permission from any of the other p.i.l band members.anyway this set includes five songs that were re-recorded for p.i.ls 4th album so this is almost a demo/early version type of thing of that album.anyhoo id like you all to listen,enjoy and then should you so desire leave a comment.thanks!

P.I.L 1st Gig - Belgium 1978

evening all.well for post no.450 we have this little slice of post-punk history.its a recording of p.i.ls first gig recorded in belgium in 1978.its an interesting little number as its a fairly shambolic affair but very listenable also.i could go on and on about this but i wont.ill just say listen,enjoy and if you have a moment then leave a comment.thanks!
