this is a recording from the last date of the specials first U.S tour in 1980 (apparently) and a belter of a show it is too.the sound for the first couple of tracks is a bit muffled but still listenable.then after that its a great sounding gig for the rest of the 25 or so tracks.featuring on stage introductions from the always wonderful debby harry this is a great one for your collection.featuring some nice artwork in the file for you to print out as well.so after playing and enjoying come back and leave a comment.thanks!

The Specials - Boston Paradise 1980

greetings viewers.todays first post is this one from the specials recorded in bostons paradise club on their seemingly endless us tour in 1980.i remember buying a copy of this about 12 years ago on cassette from camden market and this copy(courtesy of camden dave once again!) sounds fairly similar to my old tape copy i.e the sound isnt the greatest in places but is definitely worth a place in any specials fans collection.so play this a couple of times,enjoy it and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Untouchables - Wild Child

a great album that was one of the first i bought along with dance craze way back sometime last century.i remember seeing the band on top of the pops and thinking i had to have the record.ive scanned some pics from the vinyl version (ive been playing with the scanner today!)and included 2 bonus extended versions of free yourself and whats gone wrong.so play it loud,dance around(i defy you not to dance to the song 'free yourself' )and when you sit down after with a cup of tea leave a comment.thanks!

p.s the track 'i spy for the f.b.i' was produced by the specials jerry dammers.and the album was mixed by alan winstanley who has done a lot of work with madness.just thought id let you know.
