The Beat - Hammersmith Palais 1982

With the sad passing on Tuesday of Beat vocalist Ranking Roger at the far too young age of only 56, here is a reposting of a show from the band recorded in Hammersmith in 1982.RR was an awesome presence on the stage, non stop bouncing, dancing and singing from start to finish,a true gentleman who even though i never met him, will miss him terribly. R.I.P
Ranking Roger RIP

Dance Craze - soundtrack

it seems the blog world is going 2-tone crazy at the moment so here i am with my contribution.its the soundtrack to the film of the same name and its fantastic.each song is a classic ,filled with an energy that makes it impossible not to dance to.this is a great rip with all the songs included, none of this no madness here!it was done by someone i know who prefers to remain nameless and hes included nice scans of the covers from the record, cassette and vhs versions.there is also a scan of the front of the dance craze magazine that i got some where else.incidentally if anyone could point me somewhere i could see the whole magazine that would be great.right over to you guys again.put this on,listen, dance around your living room, enjoy and leave a comment.thanks!
