IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Greetings people of interweb land. After moving to a new flat and nearly 2 months of continuous foulups from Bee Tee and Vurjin Meedea im almost sure(!) that mondo de muebles will be back up and running a.s.a.p. At least thats the plan. Im writing this using a 'dongle' (oo er missus) which my wife may have to take back to work soon but anyways thanks for all the comments,repost requests etc. Rest assured in the knowledge that as soon as i have web access of my own i will get started on them. In the meantime you can look forward to some great live video to come from Joe Strummer, The Specials recent gig in Santiago in Spain and also (hopefully!) the Toy Dolls and Bad Manners sets from the same festival. Dance Craze - Live

an absolutely classic album that was actually the first one i ever bought.i had to save my pocket money for weeks so i could buy it.it cost me £5.50 from golden discs in dun laoghaire shopping centre in dublin.the shop is long gone(its a bar now!) but listening to this album always brings me back to that period in time and the happy memories associated with it.anyways enough of my babbling please listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

a great ska compilation for you all today.its a 23 track compilation and its a belter!i got it from camden dave this morning who came over for a few games of tekken6.anyway it features a whole host of great bands and artists like bad manners,the loafers,laurel aitken,the riffs etc etc.anyway its going straight on the eyepodd later now that ive found the connecting cable.anyhoo id like you all to listen,enjoy,do the ska and then when you have a moment leave a comment.thanks!

Bad Manners - Live in France 1988

a great show from ska legends bad manners.its from a french radio show from 1988 so its excellent sound throughout.a great ska version of the classic 'pipeline' to start things off and other greats such as 'wooly bully', 'walking in the sunshine' and 'just a feeling' are all played here.packed with energy it shows what a great live band they were and still are.so play this loud,do the can can,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

Buster and Friends - Ne-Ne Na-Na Na-Na Nu-Nu

i got a copy of the original version today of Ne-Ne Na-Na Na-Na Nu-Nu by 'Dickie Doo and the donts' on a cd from a mate and i thought id post that original version here from 1958 along with the bad manners cover version.its a great song and i think the original is a great listen.anyway listen,enjoy both versions here,and then leave a comment.thanks!

Dance Craze - soundtrack

it seems the blog world is going 2-tone crazy at the moment so here i am with my contribution.its the soundtrack to the film of the same name and its fantastic.each song is a classic ,filled with an energy that makes it impossible not to dance to.this is a great rip with all the songs included,none of this no madness here!it was done by someone i know who prefers to remain nameless and hes included nice scans of the covers from the record,cassette and vhs versions.there is also a scan of the front of the dance craze magazine that i got some where else.incidentally if anyone could point me somewhere i could see the whole magazine that would be great.right over to you guys again.put this on,listen,dance around your living room,enjoy and leave a comment.thanks!
