Another post for your delight and listening pleasure this evening we have a live show from the selecter recorded in amsterdam in 1980.top sound in this one from a broadcast on a dutch radio station which is why this has such brilliant sound quality.i recently got this copy from camden dave but i dont know where he got it.anyway the band are on top form in this show and is a real joy to listen to brilliant versions of classics like 3 minute hero and train to skaville.so listeners its time for you to listen to it for yourselves,enjoy it so much you want to leave a comment.thanks!

The Slits - Live in London 1980

a nice live show from the slits for you today.apparently recorded at a show in alexandra palace in london in 1980.my fave 'in the beginning' is here and also 'i heard it through the grapevine'.a pretty good sound here for an audience recording.i havent seen a huge amount of shows from the slits out there so i hope this is a new one for you all as well.once again its time to listen,enjoy and then maybe leave a comment.thanks!

The Clash - Revolution Rock in Hammersmith

another quality clash boot from the muebles archives.this is a good sounding gig recorded at hammersmith palais in 1980 and features 31 tracks if ive added them up correctly!.the cover calls it 'revolution rock' and says it was hammersmith odeon (but it definitely isnt from there!)and the cd when ripped says 'clash story book' so its not the original cover art.anyway just enjoy a great show from the last gang in town.play loud,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Jam - PinkPop Festival 1980

This is a fantastic recording capturing the jam at their live best.rick bucklers drumming on this is excellent and the band sound really 'tight' at this gig recorded at the pinkpop festival in holland in 1980.wonderful sound here so its a soundboard recording i reckon.what else is there to say but listen,enjoy and then leave a comment.thanks!

this is a really nice piece of footage from a japanese gig from 1980.the song performed here is 'hey little rich girl' and again finds the band on top form.also included here is an mp3 of the same footage to play and listen to however you wish.so after putting this footage on a disk to watch on your tellyboxes and then dancing and enjoying it,dance back to the computer and leave a comment.thanks!

The Specials - Live in Seattle 1980

starting the proceedings today is another great bootleg from the muebles archives.this is the specials recorded live at the showbox venue in seattle.its a great quality audience recording which i believe was ripped from a cassette copy originally ( at least thats what camden dave told me! ) but its a great listen anyway.like the jam the specials were always a great live band brimming with energy and this gig serves as a reminder of how great they here back in the day.listening to the opening chant from concrete jungle always reminds me of fights at school!oh happy days.so you should know by know what you need to do and thats dust off your loafers and harringtons,play this little gem,enjoy,dance like you just dont care and then skank to the computer and be brave and leave a comment.thanks!

The Jam - Live 1980

this is a great cd for a 'live' introduction to the jam.this show was originally recorded for broadcast by the german tv show rockpalast.the sound quality is excellent and this gig has a great version of 'going underground' my favourite jam track.anyway listen,dance,jump around like you are bruce foxton and then leave a comment.thanks!

The Ruts - Something that i said

this is a good compilation for people who like the music of the ruts and are new to their sound but arent really sure where to start.its mainly made up of songs from the first album and a few other singles etc.not really much else to say about this but if you like the band give it a listen as its always handy to have a compilation like this.and also if you are a completist like me and need all their releases you must get it.so listen,enjoy,think back to 1980 and leave a comment.thanks!
