I was so glad to read your review on Umberto Eco's Name of the Rose. You're the only one who agrees this is a miserable book. I fail to understand as to how most people regard it as "an amazing book". To me, it appears tard better than Dan Brown. One can read the first 80 pages and last 80 and not miss much.
