I was speaking with some people and they don't consider the LA Lakers and Boston Celtics tied on championships because the Lakers won some in Minneapolis and they think transferring team history is nonsensical. I personally transfer team history but I don't care if someone else doesn't, do you transfer team history when you talk about the basketball?

Jones (NOP), and not Jokic (DEN), is the last player to touch the ball before it goes out of bounds. Possession should be retained by DEN.
No I'm not letting this go idc about our record. Refs were determined to give the Pelicans the ball. This could have and should have been reviewed. Nuggets are the 2nd in leading the league in the lowest amount of free throw attempts per game while being 2nd in the league in points in the paint. Such BS man

I have been having tremendous problem streaming games on the NBA TV app (subscription: NBA League Pass). I've tried from multiple Apple TVs, two iPhones, an ipad, and a web browser. I consistently have issues.
-
If I join a live game and click "watch live", it almost always starts at the beginning. There is no way to resolve this, no matter how many times I try to rejoin. It continuously starts at the beginning. I then have to click "fast forward" to get to where I want in the game (which can take a long time).
-
If I start a game late, there is no way to resume if I pause.
3. Tonight, I was watching a game. I attempted to join "live", on a game in progress. It started from the beginning. So I opted to watch it from the beginning. The game went to overtime. Inexplicably, with 40 seconds left... the broadcast cut out completely.
4. The app logs me out every few days.
I haven't been able to watch a full game without issues the entire season, despite trying on at least six different devices and trying via a web browser. I've also updated the apps on most of my devices.
Sincere question: does anyone have positive experiences with the NBA app? I can't believe it's a problem with all of my devices, but perhaps something is wrong with my account? Does anyone use the app and *not* have one or more of the problems referenced above?

We've seen how good a Jokic-led Nuggets offense is. We've also seen the Kings be the #1 offense behind Sabonis' DHO actions, and the Heat went to the Finals through Bam Adebayo High-Post actions, DHO actions and split cuts. A large part of the Warriors offense is built off Draymond Green's passing, and the Rockets are 6-4 by playing through Sengun, who's having an incredible offensive season.
Most of those teams feature a passing big, a bunch a shooters that feeds of said big (MPJ, KCP, Huerter, Keegan, Duncan Robinson, Max Strus, Klay, Jabari Smith), and a perimeter star that can play in PnRs (Murray, Fox, Butler, Curry, and VanVleet/J. Green to a certain degree).
So, are those offense built off a passing big the future?
The answer is yes, but not completely.
Excellent passing bigs like Jokic are rare. Good passing bigs like Sengun and Sabonis are less rare, but still not as common as a lead guard.
However, teams can still make use bigs with good B-Ball IQ, like Chet Holmgren, Steven Adams, Al Horford and Jusurf Nurkic to run actions with shooters as a way to play good offense without their primary offensive star like SGA or Morant.
In my opinion, it's an incredibly overlooked element of modern offense and teams should definitely invest in a passing big even if it comes with questionable defense (Is there any correlation? Most passing bigs always seems to be bad at defense). Thoughts?
At 18.3, Cade trails only Shae in drives to the bucket, yet is shooting just 3.7 FTs a game (and only 1.5 FTs off drives)
We all know Cade doesn't get a whistle but God damn does he not get a whistle

This scenario is unlikely to occur. However, there is a >0% chance to occur, and since we all like excitement and chaos here, we should root for it before they fix it for next season (I’m sure there’s an employee here who will read my post).
I’ll describe the hypothetical scenario of how this can occur below.
For the In-Season Tournament, the team with the best record in a group wins the group stage. However, if two or more teams are tied for first, it will go to tiebreakers. The first tiebreaker is H2H record, and the second tiebreaker is points differential. There are a few more tiebreakers, but those don’t matter here.
Since the In-Season Tournament does not have games between teams in the same group occurring at the same time (which I’m sure they’ll fix in future years - it’s a lesson the FIFA World Cup learned the hard way in 1982), there is a chance that during a team’s last group stage game, they’ll already know the result of the group (for example, the Kings and Warriors play their last group stage game after all other games have finished in their group). As a result, a team would know exactly what they need to do to win their group.
Call that team Team A. Let’s say that Team A knows that in order to advance, they have to win their last game in order to force a 3+ way tie for first. They also need to win by 6 or more points (it could be 7, 8, etc. just using 6 for simplicity).
The 3+ way tie is important. In that case, there could be no clear H2H winner as all 3 teams could be 1-1 against the other two. If it was just a two-way tie for first, then there would be a clear H2H winner, and it would not go to the points differential tiebreak.
In this scenario, let’s say that at the end of the game, Team A is leading by 2 points with 3 seconds to go, and they have the ball. They have to win by 6+ to win the group and advance. Well, there’s no way that’s going to happen because the other team clearly isn’t going to foul you to cause a 4+ point play. So what does Team A have to do?
They have to score in their own basket to force overtime. That’s their only chance of advancing. In that case, they force a tie, but because overtime points differential adds up still, they have a chance to win by 6+ overtime to advance. Of course, if the opposing team is the team that also needs to not lose by 6+ or more to advance, they would also try to prevent the other team from gifting them 2 points. In other words, the two teams would go in opposite directions.
The only risk for team A is by doing this, they could end up losing a team they would have won for the regular season standings had they not scored in their own basket. However, 1 game in the regular season standings clearly is worth a lot less than the monetary reward of winning the tournament, so they really isn’t much of a risk.
This actually has occurred throughout sports history. There once was a famous soccer game (Barbados Grenada) where the points differential tiebreak caused a ridiculous ending where one team tried to score in both goals and the other tried to prevent that from happening. It also happens in the NFL to a different extent (not points differential but time). There are some situations where a defense allows the other team to score a TD rather than wind down the clock in order to get a shots themselves.
Anyways, I’m sure this case will be fixed next year. I’m surprised no one thought of this when making the rules. However, for now, I really hope to see this occur this year.
Rasheed Wallace joined The Real Ones on The Ringer with Raja Bell and Logan Murdock Nov. 16 to talk about his career and the increased emphasis on offense.
Around 17:45, he addresses the team's (and Portland's) marijuana use, and how the NBA has changed:
"It's steps as it progresses, not only with the league but just with society. You know back then it was it was welcomed by society for us to be smoking around town.
"You know I think was the whole town smoke. So it wasn't like 'oh shit why she why he's smoking like oh she what's up She's like you know hey, I'm hey, what's up bro'? You know so. That that whole perception of us, you know, being all out of control and and you know this and that."
Around 23:00, he addresses the Jail Blazers:
"Once they tagged us as the jail Blazers, then the the nation just took that up. And like, I'm like, 'yo, everybody saying that, you know, we was this, we was that.' But ain't nobody ever go to jail. Ain't nobody ever get in trouble with police around town. You know, It was normal shit. A speeding ticket."
Around 30:55, he's asked whether he thinks the 2000 Trail Blazers or championship Pistons are better:
"It's a it's a weird question, but like you could be on a team that wins the championship and say 'Yeah, but that that goddamn Blazers team was loaded.'
...
"I would have to say Portland because we were younger and you know, we were more athletic in our prime. In Detroit, it was more savvy, you know. It was more veterans."

I was watching Emporio Armani Milan play against Venice, and almost every other dribble involved players doing the infamous Jordan Poole palming technique to get past their defenders. It was so ridiculous that it almost resembled a Kevin Durant "hesi pull up jimbo" highlight, albeit without his "Jordanesque" grip. Essentially, it was a consistent violation of NBA palming rules (imo), with players positioning their hands under the ball.
To be fair, this was my first time watching an Italian league game in 15 years, so this was shocking to me. I'm Italian btw, played semi-pro at a young age, and I recall something like this was never allowed back then.
When did this change occurred, and do you think the NBA currently enforces more rigorous palming rules compared to EuroLeague?
