Hello, I read somewhere that the TPMS sensors used in most, perhaps all Teslas use BTLE (BlueTooth Low Energy) to communicate data to the vehicle.

So I have an odd question: is it relatively easy to connect to and read the data with a standard-issue smart phone? Preferably without need to root the phone or construct a custom app myself.

I am familiar with software-defined radio and can code a little in several languages, but to be honest, I'm not that great outside of industrial programming or an Operational Technology scope... so I'd like to avoid as much complexity as I can.

The reason I ask is I have a motorcycle that does not have a TPMS system and would like to be able to check tire pressure and temperature using a phone. I figured somone here might be familiar with these TPMS units.

Thanks everyone!
