Hi everyone. After trying 2K24, I was surprised by the negative opinions. The gameplay is smoother and the player is quick to respond. Defense, Offensive and player movements are better than before. Shooting is easier from different angles .The colors are more realistic, especially the colors of stadium floors.

I'm not talking about well-known players that have like Jamal Crawford, Tracy Mcgrady, etc. but I'm talking about TUFF hoopers that have faded into obscurity - some that come to mind for me are Ben Gordon and Cuttino Mobley

10 gamer today. Let's dive in
There are 3 games with massive o/u totals today. Let's start with how to get exposure to those/what to look for.
Pacers @ Sixers (Phi -4.5 o/u 240.5)
This game should be awesome. Both teams have had fantastic starts to the year, and have been electric from a fantasy perspective. From the Philly side, JOEL EMBIID $12300 is QUESTIONABLE today. This news would be insanity if it breaks, as Philly's rotation was already tight after the Oubre news. Nicolas Batum is also OUT and played 33 minutes last game. Bball Paul Reed $4100 and Robert Covington $3900 become absolute locks if Embiid sits for value, Tobias Harris $6900 will be relied upon heavily as well, and has been super fuckin solid. The man's been so consistent and they'll need a ceiling game from him. Deanthony Melton $5200 should see into 30+ minutes, and Tyrese Maxey at $10100 is totally a play. The Pacers don't play D, but they can score you off the floor quickly, if Embiid sits, there is some blowout risk here, but Philly doesn't have enough healthy bodies to even be that affected. On the Pacer side, it starts with Hali $10200 and ends there for me. The other guys are solid, and someone's gonna have a good game, but it's tough to figure out who's gonna get there's. I think Bruce Brown @ $5000 is the safest play of their bunch, as his minutes and ways he can produce are the most consistent, and Mathurin @ $5500 is the highest ceiling. I struggle to reason with any of them as better plays than Melton however. In 14 games in his career vs Embiid, Myles Turner has been straight up miserable averaging only 10/5/1blk. Career avgs aren't the end all be all, but that's alarming. I don't mind placing a bet on the Pacers before news breaks at all. I think they're fully capable of winning even if Embiid plays.
Mavericks @ Pelicans (Dal -3.5 o/u 239.5)
I'm so sick of the Pelicans, but here we go again. CJ Mccollum is still OUT, Jose Alvarado is OUT, Larry Nance is OUT, Trey Murphy is OUT, and Herb Jones is Questionable. Dyson Daniels $5500 has been really solid of late, but doesn't have a huge ceiling unless there's a big stocks game. Just a solid play at PG at that price. Jordan Hawkins $5100 is boom or bust big time. If this game stays as close as the line hints at, he likely will have a very positive game scoring. If Herb plays, his chances go down a little bit. Naji Marshall $4500 returned last game, and was solid in his 13 minutes, and can really produce when given run. Not a bad tournament shot if he's not on a big restriction. Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson $8000 each have been pretty damn underwhelming and this team needs them to step it up sooner than later. I think they're both capable of ceiling that price, but I don't think they can do it in the same game. If Herb sits, I don't mind using both but I'm not desperate to. Joval $6900 should see a bit of extra run without Nance playing, but tough price to pay for a guy who's minutes are as unpredictable as they go. Its a great matchup in theory, and if I was guaranteed 30 minutes from the man, I'm confident he's gonna smash. Tough team to figure out. If you end up going the Pelicans route for your lineup construction (totally fine given how tight the rotation is) you can run it back with one of Luka $12000 or Kyrie $8600 and call it a day. I like Kyrie since it's such a big slate, and I prefer going with more mid range price builds on big slates. Derek Lively II is playable, but I don't see the need.
Spurs @ Thunder (OKC -10.5 o/u 238)
Final one of the games that push the 240 total number and this one is the biggest spread by a solid margin, but it is a national TV game. The Spurs will be without Keldon Johnson, Tre Jones, and maybe Jeremy Sochan tonight. You can totally find a way to get to Wemby at $8700 in the long boi battle vs Chet. He should be a really solid. Zach Collins at $6300 is also totally fine to get to. He should see a little bump in his usage without KJ. Devin Vassell $6800 would be one of the best plays on the slate if Sochan sits, and I think he's great with him in. If Sochan is OUT, there's a chance for a minimum $3500 Devonte Graham sighting. Malaki Branham $4400 has been getting run, but is underwhelming. I don't mind taking a tournament shot on Cedi Osman $3800 or Doug Mcbuckets $3700 if Sochan sits. Lot of good plays on the Spurs side. As for OKC, everyone except SGA is under priced! I love the play of Jalen Williams today at $6300, and playing both Chet $8000 and Wemby just sounds fun to me. Giddey @ $6600 can get his, and if this total happens, and the game stays close totally should. OKC is the better team, and the line spells blowout risk, but the spurs rotation is tight, and they've stepped up in national tv spots this year. Very fun game to attack from a fantasy perspective.
Those are the 3 hammers. Heres some other news to pay attention to.
Hawks @ Pistons (Atl -4.5 o/u 225)
Trae Young and Jalen Duren have both been ruled OUT for this matchup. DJM $8600 will see a good usage bump and likely will be chalk. Kyrie as a pivot at the same price is a fun idea for large field tournaments. Bogdan Bogdanovic should see an uptick in usage, but isn't a must play at $5700. Clint Capela and Okungwu eat into each others usage too much, and not having Trae hurts their offense a tad. I don't mind getting to a guy like Saddiq Bey @ $4800 in big tournaments. He should get some extra shots in a revenge game, but I'm not that stoked about these ATL plays. On the Detroit side, Bagley $5600 and Stewart $5700 will both see more run, but are the opposite of must plays here. If you really are desperate to get exposure to this game, play Ausar Thompson at $7400, DJM $8600 and Jalen Johnson at $6600 but I will likely be fading this game, especially if it's chalky. DJM is absolutely a good play, don't get me wrong, but if he's ending up with big ownership because of no Trae, I'd rather just play Kyrie for the leverage.
Heat @ Hornets
Tyler Herro and Caleb Martin are OUT for the Heat, and Josh Richardson is Questionable. Jimmy Butler is in regular season Jimmy mode so im treating that like an injury. Kyle Lowry at $5600 is in play, but not a huge ceiling there. Jaime Jacques $5700 got a massive price bump, so I'm not too thrilled to play him. Not a bad play though. Duncan Robinson $5500 doesn't do enough outside of scoring to warrant this price tag. Haywood HighSmith $4700 will play minutes in the mid 20s. Will he do anything? I have no fucking idea. He'll either score 5 or 30 fpts tonight. Gross. We have to talk about Bam Adebayo though. He is now $9700, the most expensive I think he's ever been but it's beyond deserved. He's been straight up fucking ridiculous lately and should smash again tonight vs Charlotte inside. I don't mind starting your lineup build with him locked in. He should feast. On the Charlotte side, Rozier is OUT, Hayward and Miller are questionable, and Bridges is still suspended. If they are missing their two wings, Lamelo Ball $9600 might take 30 shots tonight, PJ Washington $6000 might play 40 minutes, Theo Maledon is solid cheap value at $3900 (20+ mins easy if one of miller/Hayward sit), and maybe even JT Thor at $3700 gets a bigger slice of the pie. Mark Williams $6500 has a massive ceiling and a low floor, and Nick Richards $4500 is early foul trouble for Mark away from absolutely smashing his price tag. He just doesn't get the minutes. I LOVE THIS GAME to stack for tournaments. Value, Ceilings, tight rotations. Sign me up.
Portland @ Utah
Portland is hurting bad. They are missing 4 MAJOR pieces in Brogdon, Scoot, Simons, and Timelord. Jerami Grant at $6700 is a great play today, and so is Shaedon Sharpe at $6800. Skylar Mays is also $6800 and has been good. One of the wings of Camara $3900, Walker $3900 will get 20 fantasy points tonight, and DeAndre Ayton $7500 should feast inside vs Utah with Kessler and maybe Collins (probable). Keyontae George $4600 has been real good in the starting lineup for the Jazz, and should draw the start again. Maybe Ochai Agbaji $4100 will as well. Jordan Clarkson $6900 can get his on any given night, as can Lauri Markannen $8500. If Collins sits, Kelly Olynyk $4500 becomes tasty chalk, and I could see myself taking a shot on Simone Fontecchio $3700. Collins is probable, and at $6100 is just fine.
Minnesota @ GS
This has the lowest total and for good reason. The warriors have been anemic in terms of offense outside of Steph and Steph is Questionable tonight. The Wolves have the best Defense in the league, and outside of CP3 if Steph sits, I'm not worried about this game at all.
Clippers @ Nuggets
The clippers are in trouble. Their prices are low from a fantasy perspective. They need a good performance badly. This is a god awful matchup. I'm fading this game from a fantasy perspective. There's just better places to look imo. There's plenty of value to get up to Joker but @ $12800 there could be some real opportunity cost. Lot of good 8- 9k plays today.
B.o.l tonight!
