It is. The brain is what controls actions, emotions, and everything else. It's just as important if not more.

Things need to change.

I actually looked at the statistics for gun deaths in the USA and MORE THAN HALF are due to suicide.

That tells me the issue isn't 100% the existence of guns but mental health.

People need to take care of one another more.

The kids who commit mass shootings need to be cared for by the people they spend most of their time with; teachers!

Teachers are actually trained in college to OBSERVE their students for behavioral changes or disturbances of any kind. It is their job, in the most literal , to know when a student is at risk or has issues at school or at home.

So instead of being angry at the parents who have to work more than one job to make ends meet because they didn't know little Johnny was planning a mass shooting, let's start emphasizing more awareness in teachers.

The days of just doing what is required or expected of you as a teacher are gone. You need to go above or beyond and care for all your students. If teachers don't start paying attention to students more we will continue to have mass shootings even if guns are banned. Because the issue is mental health based no gun based.

Those are the facts. I hope people being to realize this and start making changes.
