Definitely loved Doja’s direction in this, however I feel like she could’ve utilized Ricci. Love to see her fully committing to the horror concept for this album rollout. I don’t think I’ve felt this excited (and slightly terrified) for an artist’s “dark era” since WWAFAWDWG.

I wish the video could have been longer. Like how big artists used to do it in the 80s (Thriller) or most videos Gaga made earlier in her career. The thing I don’t quite get about Doja this era is… She keeps talking about how her previous albums were sellout efforts, how this is the real her blah blah… And for what? Where is the message or the meaning in her songs? It’s like she wants to adopt a rebellious/ punk aesthetic, but the lyrics are still corny and nonsensical. The packaging has been remodelled but the product is the same.

The mixing on this song is so unsatisfying, her voice is muted and muffed. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but I swear they have the volume on her voice changing rapidly, it keeps falling and rising cyclically.

And what's up with that childish anime voice in the first verse? It does not match this (sick) beat at all.

I'm still streaming because it's really fun, but I do wish the mixing elevated her voice.

I loved it, not a song meant to be a hit, which makes sense with Paint the Town Red doing well and having time to climb still. This album is looking and sounding great.

And honestly Doja might have some of the best visuals of artist that have come from the past 5 years. Like honestly who compares? I can't really think of any.

This song is so incredibly bad?? I actually think the beat is okay but it sounds extremely unfinished. The lyrics sound like they were effected by the writers strike with the ONLY content being towards the end. It’s like the very first draft of a scrapped Kendrick Lamar song from 2017. I don’t understand how Doja is doing such a bad job with this album. Paint the town red was album-filler vibes but it’s the best release so far. Maybe she was trying to be Rico Nasty but badly???

The song is growing on me, I’ve listened three times now and I initially thought it was a bit anti-climactic but I’m starting to enjoy it more. Probably a grower for me.

Aesthetically though, this is it for me. My favorite genre is horror and this was everything, loved all of the references and thought the cinematography was fantastic. She actually looks more effective than a lot of demons in film lol

I kinda dig the song. I think it's more interesting than PTTR, at least. Really, I think she could've gone even harder and kookier with it. A feature from Rico Nasty or Ashnikko would elevate the song as would better lyrics.

Again, loved the music video. It would've been cool if the music video was about 3-4 min longer with a complete storyline.

Also, it was so polite of demon Doja to close the refrigerator door lol Got to save on that electricity bill.

I saw someone else saying that they like the second verse more than the first one and I’m glad somebody else put it into words. The flow in that second verse alone trumps the rest of the song. I see a bunch of her fans claiming that it’ll be a grower so I guess I’ll see if it catches on after a few more listens.

Video-wise, LOVE the visuals. I’ve said this before but visuals have always been one of the strongest tools she has at her disposal. The horror imagery and theme she’s leaning into seem to be well embodied with this. That being said, I’m chuckling a bit at the comments saying that this’ll cause outrage: apart from the typical Fox News crowd that’ll spontaneously combust if they even see devil horns, nothing in this video is that groundbreaking or outrageous or provocative. It’s just a well-made horror themed music video: sometimes things can just be that😂

Feel like there was a lot more she could have done with this concept, but not surprising since she has such a boring song to work with.

Attention is the most interesting video of this era so far while PTTR has the most visually pleasing one. I don't know what this is. Just feels like the horror film references didn't have an interesting end or twist behind them.

And this song thematically and lyrically is no different from the other singles. "I'm a real rapper. I'm annoying and annoyed. I'm getting all the dick." Congratulations, I guess?

This album is definitely going to be mixed.

I love the video but I’m am a sucker for horror so no surprises. That being said her rapping is really bad in the first verse, ‘What are those’ takes me out every time and just stunts the momentum of the song. Thankfully the chorus is heavy and hits hard. The song could have been more experimental with the scream rapping from the chorus peppered into the verses. Overall, I appreciate Doja for giving us a proper era with 3 distinct songs and high quality videos. She has put her heart into this project and I hope it’s a fulfilling project for her.

The original leak kinda left me 50/50 on this but hearing the full version this morning and I really liked it. The biggest fault is her voice in the first verse but otherwise it’s different, unlike her other music, pretty fun, punchy, and I respect she’s doing what she wants and doesn’t care what others may think of it.

If the rest of the record is anything like these first three singles I think I may really end up enjoying it. Fingers crossed.
