Despite its many problems, Lords of the Fallen has managed to conquer us by combining the soulslike of always with a mechanic as novel and interesting as the jump between worlds. If they correct their failures, we could be facing one of the great surprises of 2023 and one of the best soulslike of recent years.

As Aston Martin did in Formula 1 at the beginning of the season, Turn 10 has started from the scratch and it has created a car with a very promising future. Taking into account that it follows the game as service standard, it has a lot of potential to improve, but Forza Motorsport is an astonishing driving simulator for all kind of audiences.

It's not the biggest or most spectacular game in the series, but it doesn't pretend to be either. If you want nostalgia for past times with a technical invoice of present times, here you can enjoy in a big way without having to connect to the Animus.

If you like strong challenges, surely this game is not for you, but if you have kids at home or you are looking to immerse yourself in the Pokémon world without further complications, this game will please you like a good cup of coffee.

Like the previous Jeppe Carlsen games, Cocoon is a special title, a wonderful little puzzle adventure that plays with original concepts and ideas. It may be brief, leaving you wanting more... But it is one of those indie games that, as soon as you are attracted to the genre, you have to play yes or yes.

If you've ever dreamed of a Fly Adventures video game, Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai probably satisfies that desire... But don't go around expecting something with the same level of quality and magic of a real Dragon Quest.

Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster is a great opportunity to discover, or replay, two role-playing gems from the GameCube catalog. Although the visual improvement is evident, Bandai Namco could have done more, such as translating Baten Kaito Origins or polishing the technical plot a little more. Even so, great adventures, with an unforgettable combat system.

Although it has its foundations laid on something we've already experienced, Separate Ways finds its own way (ahem) with bombproof storytelling and pacing. It is an example of complete, intense and well-designed DLC.

EA Sports FC 24 brings us a little closer to more realistic football. The novelties in immersion are the perfect wrapper for a gameplay that is essentially the same, but that registers more important novelties than we expected. We only regret that it continues to sin of continuity and the lack of novelties in FIFA game modes.

It offers shocking moments and its proposal is very attractive, but it is too outdated in the technical and sometimes the development is unnecessarily convoluted.

Phantom Liberty is a fantastic expansion, with a great story, memorable characters and quality supporting content, but the real reason you won't want to stop coming back to Night City is Update 2.0.

While performance issues have tarnished the experience, we've had a good time returning to the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Purple in The Turquoise Mask. It's an entertaining expansion; Not like to shoot rockets, but it's fine and leaves us with the promise that the best is yet to come.

Even with questionable aspects such as premium currency, The Crew Motorfest exudes style and flashes of quality, with a solid proposal that can connect with lovers of the most eclectic speed (as soon as you are in the mud as with single-seaters). Too bad that aspects such as poor multiplayer, or always online, disfigure the final result.

Netherrealm does not risk too much with its new delivery, but it strengthens a brutal fighting game in every way, comfortable to control and very fun.

NBA 2K24 is a shot on the board, a shot for sure that you know is going to go in, but we preferred to see a clean three-pointer from the corner. The basketball simulation returns one more year with a lukewarm tribute to the Mamba, without too much ambition and seasoned with micropayments, but with a playable invoice and brilliant technique.

Even though at times feels too derivative, we had a blast playing Lies of P. It's so well done and all the changes are so good (although minor), that we would be lying if we didn't recommend it.

MythForce is an entertaining action-role-playing roguelite, which stands out for its cartoon aesthetic of the 80s and being very oriented to cooperative play for four. It has many "evils" of the subgenre (random generation of levels, repetition ...), but if you are going to play it with friends, you will have a great time. Alone, maybe not so much.

It improves on the previous game in some aspects, but it does not get rid of some imbalance and chaos. Even so, it is a fun proposal with a lot of multiplayer potential.

It manages to make you feel happy and relaxed with just the right dose of adventures. It's not for hardcore players, of course, but you'll appreciate it if you just want to escape to a more colorful reality.

It lacks a good polish (in the form of a patch) to correct the technical problems, but if you like games that give a lot of importance to exploration and are not afraid to navigate a gigantic underwater level, Under the Waves is a hidden treasure in the depths.
