The 76ers couldn't handle the Heat and have been eliminated from the playoffs in 6 games

Tonight, the Philadelphia 76ers entered Game 7 of their series against the Atlanta Hawks. The top seed in the Eastern Conference, they knew that a loss would mean the end of their season. Well, even though Trae Young shot just 2/19 for the Hawks with 7:11 to go in the 4th. The Sixers led by 4 at that point. In the end, they fell apart and lost the game. The series is over, the Sixers season is over, and the Sixers hopes of winning a title are done for the year.
With their loss to the Boston Celtics in game 4 of 2020 NBA Playoffs, Philadelphia 76ers have been eliminated from championship contention.
They are the first team to be eliminated from this season's playoffs.

With their win over the Orlando Magic putting them at 48-23, the Sixers have secured the first seed. While the Nets can still tie their record, the Sixers hold the tie breaker over them.
