Never fails to crack me up!😆 my friends and I made an “airport” on “Moder Mountain “. My friend didn’t know what to expect when I launched him, we all had a good laugh when we suddenly realized he was continuing towards the end of the map with full gear and no portal. He was like “guys! Im still going! Guyyys!!!” And I’m like “are you slowing down?!” And my other friend was like “drop!! Take off your cape if you need to!!!”

I was rocking from laughing so hard.

He ended up crashing in the mistland biome requiring a full expedition to rescue his ass. Still makes me laugh.

Both at the same time. It’s easier if you count down from three or something. If one person does it, nothing happens. During the same story as above, we kept getting it wrong with one person not doing something. I remember getting frustrated and saying “dammit, they fixed the bug I guess”. Then Tried it one more time where my friend disappeared like a glitch . One of the reasons I laughed so hard. It was our first time doing it. I knew what to expect from watching YouTube videos and reddit posts, my friend following my directions had. No. Clue . How far he’d launch

I’m honestly curious though, what’s the flight time difference between having a feather cape and not, how far will you go and how fast will you fall. Also as long as your health is above 100 you’ll survive the landing

I think it was the same OP who posted a similar video yesterday but without unequipping the cape. They went far beyond the edge of the world, eventually hitting a kill box out in the void.

I have no idea what the maximum launch distance you can do without the cape is, there are probably many ways to finesse the launch platform and technique, but I doubt any of them would get you near the edge of the world from the centre.

Unequipping cape lets you choose the landing site, you have a bit of air control with it.

Assuming 1 unit = 1 meter, which I think it is, the map is a circle with 10km radius. That makes it 314 square km, which for context is about the size of Malta, or Kansas City.
