What is the purpose of a conveyancer? Do they guide you on putting together an offer? Are they the middle person between you and the vendor/agent?
I am so confused as to what they actually do for the buyer?
I have sent through a contract, and they responsed with, ask them to remove this clause and this clause. Ok, and if they say NO, what then?
Anyone with any insight please do advise..
Edit: Thank you all for answering my question. I now have a better understanding!
Hi all,
You might see through my comment history, I am very new to the house buying process and have done as much research as I can to answer my questions.
I have been advised that the property I am looking at in Werribee, VIC has an easement in the backyard for sewerage and drainage.
My question to anyone that can clarify- Are sewerage easements normal for most houses in VIC or Australia in general? My current house doesn’t have an easement. Would you buy a property with an easement or does yours have one? Pros and Cons?
TIA
