Last night I was googling the ability to sleep in the Newark Airport Terminal C overnight - all of the search results online stated you could not sleep there and that security would kick you out. This was consistent with my experience there five years ago.

I decided to chance it anyways and see if the rules have changed, at worst I’d have to sleep in pre-security. To my surprise, not only do they no longer kick you out (in this particular terminal), but United will put out cots for people to sleep on.

Mainly wanted to share online to show up in post results for future travelers. Travel safe everyone.
