Posts should only be about Gran Turismo, or, in limited circumstances, motor racing or sim-racing.
r/granturismo is a friendly sub. Although we're pretty good at self-moderation we still get posts targeting drivers from particular countries, people using language that would be offensive to people on grounds of race/gender/sexuality or disability. This also includes being abusive to people with different opinions, including engaging in console wars. We can disagree without that.
That's not what we're about here. This content will be removed by mods if the automod doesn't get there first.
No, we won't help you find a ROM. We want to stay on the right side of the admins so absolutely no piracy allowed.
General discussion about emulation is fine, but no posting/requesting copyrighted content please.
This includes reposts and the following posts, but not limited to:
Memes
Posts about your accomplishments, eg. your Sport Mode wins, completing a license test/mission/circuit experience, getting platinum on PSN trophies, etc.
Wishlist posts
Daily Workout/Roulette Ticket/birthday posts (mostly automatically enforced, see rule 5)
Patent nonsense
Content covered by the FAQ
Please check the front page/the FAQ before posting and use the Weekly Discussion Thread for above type of posts.
Posts that are solely about showcasing (or complaining about) your Roulette Ticket/Daily Workout drops are considered low-effort and are not allowed on the subreddit, regardless if you get a good or bad prize from there. This rule is enforced automatically by AutoModerator. Use the Weekly Discussion thread for those.
This also includes birthday car posts.
Titles should be exactly something that conveys what it exactly says; leave your opinions in the comments section (or in the body of the self-post). When in doubt, use the suggested title option.
If your post/comment get removed because of one of this rule, contact us and we will approve your content.
Do not post or refer to explicit leaks or datamines (i.e. string/memory dumps) relating to cars/tracks for the current GT title that is receiving updates/support from PD. Posts of unused content for titles no longer in official support is still permitted, however.
Posts of daily races for the following week are also exempt for this rule. Details regarding this rule is available here.
