Seriously, go follow r/AltinGun (it’s a wasteland over there currently) and check out their shit. Their sophomore album was just nominated for a Grammy a few months back.
Also, they’ve got some dope pressings for their first two records (for all you vinylheads). While I made Polygondwanaland my first alternate pressing I’ve purchased on vinyl, I just snagged a cool copy of On, their first album, from Discogs for a hell of a bargain.
I’ll be seeing them and Gizz at Bonnaroo this year and I’m jacked up about this set. They remind me a lot of Kikagaku Moyo—non-English lyrics, funky beats, psych, and an energetic outfit in general.
