With Eustace sacked, any chance he can manage us? I know Ismael was just given a new contract, but we've been pretty shocking this year. I don't like the continuous sackings, but Eustace has done well with Birmingham, and obviously has a connection with the club. I'd rather he be the long-term manager.

u/Powerjugs predicts:
3 losses in a row could feasibly have seen some head coaches see the ever revolving exit from Watford in Seasons gone by. VI however for now has the confidence of his new contract to secure him more time than his predecessors. An abject loss and a needless Andrews red card topped off what could be the nadir of our performances under VI this Season, depending how today goes.
We go onto this game having seen the team go through its first true inquisition from VI about why they have dropped off in performance, commitment and cohesion shown out on the pitch since the early promising games in Pre-Season and the resulting changes rung. Out goes Porteous and Louza, both highly criticised by fans for their poor form and poor commitment shown respectively while Chakvetadze also is dropped back to the bench with an inconsistent showing. In their place comes Livermore, Kayembé and Sierralta takes Porteous' place.
I think the changes made are reasonable and logical but whether that translates to a happier showing remains to be seen. Martins is back following a bereavement within his family, and we all wish him well today. And a goal or two preferably.
I'm going for a 2-1 Watford win.
