I am not a lawyer, but I went through this, and paid support while the child lived with me 80% of the time. Lawyer? Yes.

For example I own these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HHNWDHF?binding=kindle_edition&ref=dbs_dp_rwt_sb_pc_tukn

They show in my library still, but this "kindle" version is in my recommendations everyday...and the version I own doesn't come up in searches. Real nice job.

Hmm...why doesn't it work lol by HUGOW04 in badcode

If changed to let a = 0; Js would most likely write "undefined" as variables can be created dynamically. console.log would create a, but it would have no value defined therefore "undefined"

the pain by RenewAi in ProgrammerHumor

As a senior, I remember the pain of being a junior, without a degree. It was not fun, but usually if I got my foot in the door I got the job.

It sucks, but find a recruiter you "like" and that is willing to work with you to improve your resume and your interview processes. If you find the right recruiter they may even be able to help you find short contracts to build experience.

Make a porfolio of projects to diminstrate your skills. Do something to stand out from the pack.

Someone once told me they had to get someone to explain my code because it made them dizzy. The code was good, just very, very DRY; I think maybe they got dehydrated...

How does Mistborn Era 2 compare to Era 1? by SwampPotato in brandonsanderson

[–]x-sol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Era 2 is a bit more interesting for me because of how things have evolved.

Era 1 is a bit more epic because of how it shapes the future.

But, really I like the funny Sherlock Holmes meets gunsmoke vibe, of era 2 and wish I could find more things in this style.
