W8 my english is not but this is what i understood, there was maga guys manifestating so this guy and his friends came to stop em, and the fight with the maga guys but he was expecting police to help them to fight with maga guys?
This person being interviewed is a journalist and he was just documenting the protest of the maga guys. The journalist was expecting the police to jump in and help the nonviolent people once the maga guys became violent, but sadly (not surprisingly) they did not.
