I really enjoyed MacGyver as a kid. I grew up on that. It was always my grandfather's favorite show to share with me. And we would go fishing together in a little boat, just like Mac and his grandfather used to. Sadly, I was never as good at improv as our man.

This brings me to my question - How did you come up with the idea of MacGyver? I know you said the character was based on your jack-of-all-trades father, and while I appreciate that, I am very curious about the actual inception of the idea. And how you fleshed that out into a full-on character, who managed to shape my childhood.

Allen! You're one of my favorite characters in Downton - You represent my favorite character type, the underdog who makes his way up. And with the intention of self-discovery in your character, I felt it was even more amazingly portrayed than one would usually suspect.

I was wondering, what was it that got you to try out for Downton initially? Did you see anything special about it, or was it just something you decided to try out for? I am always curious about what goes through the mind of an actor when they decide what roles to try out for! Any insight you could provide would be very much appreciated!

Well, "Shitface," as you call him, was some random guy. He made a Reddit account with my League name, and a paypal donation thing. I don't know anything about him or who he is.

There was never a plan on my part, nor on Kenny's after he found out about all of this, to get any money. I only ever asked for Riot to help me do something for my friend, which I would pay for. The community has had people that have offered money, but the only person who ever asked for money was the guy pretending to be me, who took my League name, and used it here.

I didn't ask them to make anything, or to give me money to buy Kenny things. I asked them to take my money, and give him mystery gifts on my behalf. Kind of like the free mystery gifts you got for being a positive player at the end of this last year.

And then in point six, it wasn't Kenny who made this thread, but someone else who was from the community, but liked the story of Kenny. He took offense to the fake, and made this thread while I was in a game. He was basically my rapid response team.

Other than that, pretty on the money.

That wasn't what happened. The guy took a genuine story, which I wrote about my friend, Kenny, and attempted to get others to send him money to give back to Kenny. The story wasn't a sob-story, and it was not intended to get anyone in the community, nor to get Riot, to give anything to Kenny for free.

I made a thread on League boards asking for Riot to let me pay to have them mystery gift my friend (I would be paying). Lots of people made comments about wanting to give skins to Kenny. Riot came through and helped out. I did not know that at the same time, someone made a reddit account with my League name, and claimed to be me, asking for people to paypal money to him, "to buy skins for Kenny." Kenny is my super nice friend that donates to everyone all the time. So this person tried to impersonate me to claim he was getting skins for Kenny, on behalf of the community. I was alerted to his scam, verified he wasn't me, and now here we are.

Were you on my left, or my right? Because there was someone standing next to me who had their phone out, and got scolded by Triggs, because they were looking up trivia about their favorite champions. >.> He gave them a much harder question, I recall, about a champion they did not play. xD

PAX was probably the most awesome thing I've ever had a chance to do in my life, so far. Meeting Baconhawk and all the casters, and Krepo, and TSM, and all of that... Yes, definitely much more exciting to do in person, rather than to see on the streams. 10/10, would do again, and actually will be doing again this year.

Also, I got to hug Sky Williams like five times, after his youtuber panel with Instalok and Protatomonster.

I will tell Kenny. And I certainly don't blame you. I think your thread really helped bring more people to my post on the forums. My mind is still blown over how much traction it got.

I really just figured I'd be spending $25-$50 of my own money on Kenny's gifts, but that Riot would be the ones to bestow them on him. The community's push, ranging from suggestions of him being allowed to design a skin, to having a skin reward you get for giving mystery gifts (in honor of Kenny, much like the Medieval Twitch for recruiters), and especially people wanting to give money to make sure Kenny got gifts - That was all unexpected, and I do still stress that I am not asking for anyone's money on this. If people want to give to him, I ask them multiple times if they are sure before I even consider accepting. I don't want anyone to give up their money and regret it later, or give it when there are things they could be spending it on more appropriately for themselves.

You were certainly a contributing factor in all of the positive that has come from this, and you shouldn't feel that one other person trying to rip people off is anything near your fault. There are lots of good people in the world, and some bad people, too. You are not accountable for the actions of anyone but your own.

No problem. I always remember good deeds, and try to always repay them in kind. There was trivia outside after the whole thing was over, and I managed to score a second lanyard and Fist Bump skin. As I was driving home to Sacramento from Seattle, I stopped in at a Burger King, and a guy saw the lanyard and asked if I was at PAX. Turns out he was a Platinum III League player. My two friends and I were telling him about our awesome experience. My friend Christine had an extra lanyard or two from the Cosplay Lounge (She cosplayed as the pokemon, Leafeon), and she gave him a lanyard. I gave him my extra Fist Bump skin. In return, he gave us free sundaes, and is on my friend's list now. :D I am very much a fan of paying things forward, and Riot always seems to share that ideal.

Also, I wanted to say hello once I saw you here. I met you at PAX in Seattle last year. Not sure if you remember me, but on the final day of the NA LCS Finals, you were doing trivia for the Arcade Miss Fortune/Riot Kayle/Riot Fist Bump Ward Skins. You had asked a lady to name the five Pool Party skins, but she only remembered Lee Sin, Ziggs, Graves, and Leona. I asked if I could help, you said yes, I yelled "RENEKTON," and you gave us both the cards of our choosing. :D You definitely left a good impression on me at PAX.
