I bought a book that had two different versions. I paid a couple of dollars extra for the one with the better cover, which then got updated to the other cover.

I used to agree with your view, but then I read New Avengers and realized that the SHRA didn't prohibit unregistered super hero activity. It required all super humans to register, whether or not they participate in super hero activities. Jessica Jones couldn't just not register and be a stay-at-home mom.

I was seriously considering getting Scarlet; the battle gimmick (why do they need a new one every generation?) looked interesting, the Pokémon designs are interesting, the multiple storylines looked refreshing. But then I found out that it is a buggy mess that removes features present 25 years ago, such as the Set battle option, turning off animations, and entering buildings. I work in product testing, and we would never consider releasing something as broken as these games.
