Notorious Vancouver gangster and his family were in the news all the time back in the day. Whatever happened to them?
I just watched an old Vice video from 4 years ago that follows the story of 20 year old Austin Davis, who only eats Mac & Cheese. A habit that developed as a coping mechanism due to severe childhood abuse.
The story is quite moving, as I feel for the guy who apart from this one self destructive habit, seems completely normal and is just trying to improve himself and hopefully get to a place where he can stop eating only Mac & Cheese.
Question is, did he ever manage to do this?
Despite the video having 14 million views and being a hit story across many news outlets, I can't find anything about the guy.

I suspect this may be a Southern thing, but I have fond memories of creating really tasty pancakes from a glass of water, a bowl, and an illicit hotplate in the dorm.
It came in premeasured, pre-sealed, tear-off-the-top packets and only required water, although butter, syrup, and occasionally, sausage could make it a rare delight for a starving student. I want to say that a packet made a couple of stacks and cost under a dime.
If, as I suspect, it is gone now, lost in various product realignments and corporate mergers and buyouts, then what is something close enough to it that I could re-live those wonderful mornings?
