"Homer, my eyes are up here."

"I've made my choice."

[–]Space_Jeep 136 points137 points  (3 children)

"not those peanuts...the ones at the bottom..."

[–]CapsAndShades 3 points4 points  (1 child)

"My eyes are up here" "Yeah, but your boobs are down there"

  • Psychostick

[–]PFgeneral 1794 points1795 points  (57 children)

That's called a gentleman's glance

[–]akcaye 527 points528 points  (35 children)

it's like looking at the sun

[–]Saifaa 262 points263 points  (13 children)

You get a sense of it and you look away!

[–]ArtigoQ 192 points193 points  (6 children)

Such a funny game we all play. Wear clothes to intentionally accentuate physical attributes and draw eyes, but don't you dare do it! 😂

[–]nemo1080 36 points37 points  (5 children)

I'm out!

[–]plaidplaid420 25 points26 points  (2 children)

What do you mean you’re out?

[–]timsstuff 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Well that was fast!

[–]kicked_trashcan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m out of the contest 👋😒

[–]JamesinaLake 23 points24 points  (4 children)

Bless you for creating a Seinfeld in the wild thread.

[–]nnp1989 11 points12 points  (2 children)

I think it moved.

[–]WeezySan 6 points7 points  (4 children)

It’s true. The 70 year cashier had a low cut shirt and her cleavage was showing. I couldn’t help but look. Just a glance my eyes went there without my permission.

[–]Crypto_Candle 2 points3 points  (2 children)

70, you know she DTF.

[–]Stingray-Nebula 3 points4 points  (1 child)

*DNR

[–]Crypto_Candle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

DTF after DNR, less fight, giddy up.

[–]Dalantech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pussy has a shelf life. Before 18 it's illegal in most places to pick it, and after 30 it starts to dry out... ;)

[–]JB-from-ATL 16 points17 points  (7 children)

Damn, she's so hot. 🌞👀

[–]gtparker11 80 points81 points  (0 children)

In his defense they were looking at him first

[–]maddsskills 89 points90 points  (16 children)

I mean, yeah, it looks like he's looking at the outfit rather than just gape jawed oggling her tits lol. Such nuance is lost on some people I guess.

[–]maveric101 62 points63 points  (14 children)

It looks like he does the ol' down-and-up scan first, then sneaks a glance directly at her chest.

looks like he's looking at the outfit

And you know what that outfit is designed to show off, right?

[–]maddsskills 41 points42 points  (11 children)

Yeah, my point was that I think a lot of people think feminists are way more uptight than they actually are. There's a big difference between a respectful glance and oggling or groping or whatever.

[–]nightlanguage 6 points7 points  (5 children)

This. As a feminist, if I were to wear a revealing shirt and saw that some men gave it a quick glance, I wouldn't mind at all, as long they weren't staring or being rude 🤷🏼‍♀️

[–]Stingray-Nebula 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Yeah, it's not so much the glance as much as the entitlement to women's bodies that fucks everything up

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a fellow feminist, when I wear my grey sweat pants to the gym and I see women giving a quick glance, I don’t mind at all. Just don’t stare and be weird.

[–]Glad_Air_558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, feminists are very uptight. Have you seen the gym videos?

[–]d_nijmegen -4 points-3 points  (3 children)

The big difference is. Do you like the MAN and THEIR attention. There isn't a golden rule for looking. It's basically, like the man, like the attention, then it's ok.

The uptight image comes from the response men get when the woman doesn't like HIM to give her attention.

[–]F14mavrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speak the truth!!! Do not stray, you are 100 percent correct!

[–]batfiend 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Nah.

[–]d_nijmegen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jah, the same things one woman likes with one man, with another man she dislikes. The difference is you.

So definitely correct.

[–]dak4ttack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She does too.

[–]PusherLoveGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s almost certainly looking to make sure he’s not going to step on her shoes or dress before he moves in to pose for photos and just taking a peek while he has the chance.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And it helps of youre also dashing, charismatic and playful. Otherwise you're being cited and given a ticket.

[–]RenatoNiza 243 points244 points  (2 children)

Aim Assist

[–]tyvanwie 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I laughed so hard at this

[–]scrogbad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It feels like it sometimes

[–]coneheadZombie 537 points538 points  (11 children)

Both of them handled it perfectly, love their dynamics.

[–]highbrowshow 132 points133 points  (8 children)

It’s a shame their characters have no interactions in the MCU. I would love to see them in a movie together

[–]The_Viktoar 76 points77 points  (6 children)

Pretty sure this was for Kong Skull Island that they are in together

[–]highbrowshow 15 points16 points  (4 children)

Nice totally forgot about that movie

[–]The_TrekspertSir Patrick Stewart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, with The Marvels and the Loki series and Kang and the multiverse…

[–]Ok-Bookkeeper7969 18 points19 points  (0 children)

When you said “both of them” I knew who you were talking about but, still. Boobies.

[–]MichaelEmouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a similar exchange between the actors of Wonder Woman. I think it may be acting as part of promoting the movie. It's convincing because they're actors.

[–]_StateoftheArt_ 740 points741 points  (42 children)

It would take an actual superpower not to

[–]FlimsyRaisin3 97 points98 points  (2 children)

The entire outfit is designed to draw the attention there.

[–]Jackm941 70 points71 points  (1 child)

I was on a night out once and talking to a girl and she was wearing something similar, had a glance by accident she clearly seen me, I said sorry even though it was involuntary and she said "don't be I wore this on purpose"

I think anything out of the ordinary our eyes are drawn too really. A mohawk, peircings, tattoos, prosthetic etc.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A polite glace > never looking someone in the eyes while they're talking to you

[–][deleted] 133 points134 points  (3 children)

More people need to understand this…

[–]TheLazyLounger 80 points81 points  (2 children)

There’s a really great thread somewhere out there where a trans man talks about this. Basically he points out that after taking enough T, he couldn’t stop himself from looking at breasts. Like he was always attracted to them, but it turned into an impossible to stop action after awhile.

[–]digita1catt 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I would love to read this (or someone else's experience if they have one). The whole experience of someone finding out new (important classification; fun) quirks of life due to transitioning is always something I find enjoyable and interesting to read about.

[–]Ricketysyntax 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There’s a This American Life that’s all about testosterone, it’s fascinating! One of the segments is first person narration by a trans man about how his personality changed while taking T. The almost overwhelming desire to gawk at pretty women was something he was unprepared for & he expressed some sympathy for the guys he’d previously thought of as basically pigs.

[–][deleted] 472 points473 points  (13 children)

Please tell your tits stop staring in my eyes.

[–]HistoricalMention210 4 points5 points  (8 children)

Ain't that the truth. If you dress like that then you should know that interested parties are going to be sneaking glances!

[–]BruntLIVEz 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Beautiful people doing beautiful things

[–]whereisfoster 388 points389 points  (17 children)

They both liked it, i think i saw em blush together <3

[–]EveryShot 239 points240 points  (88 children)

I know Reddit hates her but god damn I just love this chick.

[–]highbrowshow 85 points86 points  (5 children)

Have you seen her in Room (2015)? Phenomenal acting, I was in tears the entire film

[–]TruthAndAccuracy 20 points21 points  (2 children)

Also Short Term 12. Everyone in that movie was fucking amazing.

[–]frekkenstein 46 points47 points  (71 children)

Why does Reddit hate her?

[–]fuzzylm308 257 points258 points  (43 children)

She said

I don't need a 40-year-old white dude to tell me what didn’t work for him about A Wrinkle in Time. It wasn’t made for him. I want to know what it meant to women of color, to biracial women, to teen women of color, to teens that are biracial.

Naturally, this incensed Reddit.

[–]AbsolutelyUnlikely 81 points82 points  (3 children)

As a 35 year old white dude who loved that book growing up and probably read it ten times, it would be cool if they made one that didn't suck. I don't care what color actors they pick, but maybe skip casting Oprah in the next one.

[–]totodile-ac 22 points23 points  (0 children)

i would do anything for a faithful adaptation of "a wrinkle in time"

it is hands down my favorite book and the start of a pretty decent trilogy that deserves a lot more than it's gotten

[–]18randomcharacters 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I loved it as a kid too, but.... Having actually tried to read it in the last few years I honestly don't think it would make a good movie.

[–]Catinthehat5879 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know that there really can be. The pacing of it is a lot slower than a movie, and a lot of it is internal dialogue or exposition.

I feel like the only one that has a shot of a semi decent transition is A Swiftly Tilting Planet.

But yeah I was really disappointed with the last one. Sunny LA doesn't really capture the same vibe as a rainy night in Maine.

[–]ImPinos 5 points6 points  (9 children)

No idea what a wrinkle in time is, won’t do anything to find out

[–]fuzzylm308 18 points19 points  (0 children)

it's a good book and not-as-good movie

[–]iJoshh 49 points50 points  (0 children)

The short answer is sexism.

The long answer is reeeeeee sexism.

[–]EveryShot 34 points35 points  (11 children)

Idk something about her attitude when captain marvel premiered. I don’t agree with them but the neck beards seemed super pissed at her.

[–]boltzmannman 30 points31 points  (5 children)

I disliked her character in the movie, but idk how much of that is really Brie's fault vs the writers/directors. Marvel fans just love to blame actors for everything.

[–]interfail 26 points27 points  (2 children)

Marvel fans just love to blame actors for everything.

Women. They like to blame women for everything.

[–]boltzmannman 1 point2 points  (1 child)

No one blamed Scarlett Johansson for the Black Widow movie sucking

[–]melechkibitzer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I liked black widow more than captain marvel though. I liked both, but black widow has captain russia and yelena. And the villian was appropriately gross. I suppose they ruined the taskmaster character but I didn’t know anything about the character before seeing the movie so that element didnt affect me

I don’t remember much about captain marvel but i did like plot about the two alien factions and such. Didnt want to spoil

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah maybe your right, I hate her character in the movies and dislike her but it may just be because of the directors choices, hopefully.

[–]TiltingAtTurbines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Captain Marvel stuff was mostly her seeming to be a bit inexperienced at handling major press and struggling to find the balance and tact of talking about issues she felt strongly about and talking about promoting the movie. It lead to a few awkward interviews where they were just puff pieces for the movie, but she was trying to talk about serious topics.

It’s nothing that should have been held against her, though. She didn’t have much experience with the type of press and fame MCU brings, and took a second to find her footing—which she did just fine. Of course most of those people wouldn’t have liked her regardless because she was a female lead ruining their superhero movies and having opinions.

[–]ElReyDelMund0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know, right? Idk why she gets all the hate, she's adorable.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (1 child)

She's so hot, fit, good at acting and she's my Captain Marvel.

[–]pokemonisok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*incels hate her

[–]Dyspaereunia 64 points65 points  (3 children)

As this has been posted endlessly I believe he was making sure she didn’t step on his shoe or something.

[–]cmoneynb 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I think you're right on the initial look down, but not so much on the second quick look.

[–]Narezza 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He was standing on his mark

[–]TrapsterDK 152 points153 points  (35 children)

Didn't even notice Hiddleston

[–]Azart57- 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Conan O’Brien: “You didn’t think I was gonna look down there!”

[–]Ryan_Extra 469 points470 points  (25 children)

Yeah, tits half way out, people gonna look.

[–]zorrez 272 points273 points  (12 children)

Yeah I don’t think she actually got mad about it

[–]Glowshroom[🍰] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

That's her angry face

[–]highbrowshow 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I want her to be mad at me…

[–]thegreatbrah 28 points29 points  (6 children)

Bro he didn't peek. He full on turned his entire head down to look.

[–]FormalChicken 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean what's the dialogue?

"Good to see you" yeah. "that dress looks great" okay makes sense.

[–]Ryan_Extra 10 points11 points  (3 children)

You miss 💯 of the shots you don’t take.

-Wayne Gretzky -Michael Scott

[–]thegreatbrah 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Use your peripherals!

[–]Nate0110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks Ben Affleck

[–]McCheesey1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just widening my eyes

[–]zorrez 107 points108 points  (10 children)

My god is she cute when she laughs. I am so weak for squinty eyes

[–]Axi0madick 30 points31 points  (2 children)

I bet you really like French Stewart

[–]PartyBandos 90 points91 points  (3 children)

Boy do I have the continent for you!

[–]picklesfoley 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Oh my god

[–]ThatOneDudeFromOhio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Billions of people just for him!

[–]Juggletrain 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Melissa Benoist too

[–]riotlancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see you are a man of culture as well

[–]Hydro1313 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think everyone caught a glimpse.

[–]Petrrii 74 points75 points  (4 children)

Jesus those are some tits

[–]noteverrelevant 40 points41 points  (0 children)

"Damn, you right."

-Jesus, probably

[–]OrganizerMowgli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"I saw your memes about my ass compared to Tom Holland's.."

[–]Cory123125 -5 points-4 points  (1 child)

She's literally a normal, healthily sized woman. Calm your hormones.

[–]Danimals847 17 points18 points  (1 child)

She is wearing a literal giant arrow that draws the eye directly to her cleavage.

[–]SpehlingAirer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah its almost physically impossible to not get a glance, our brains will trace that arrow to its center without us even thinking about it

[–]fatalcharm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Her boobs look amazing and she knows it.

[–]General-Opinion-8773 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The bottom of the triangle isn’t centred. That bothers me.

[–]fluffy_jim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She is very nice to look at.

[–]samdean3000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Brie knows.

[–]hotstickywaffle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She's like 'Yeah, I get it, no worries dude'

[–]Saddam_UE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well... that is the whole point with a outfit like that.

[–]ampy187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not like you can miss them

[–]somanyroadsJudge Judy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jesus...so much chemistry it triggered a solar eclipse.

[–]ItsJustMeBeinCurious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Outfit says, “Look at me. LOOK AT ME!” He looks. “Hey, you looked. Naughty you!”

[–]PhillySpecial2424 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brie: Did you just look at my breast?

Tom: I did indeed and they are in fact truly exquisite breast.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its honestly kind of weird seeing her...emote.

[–]westboundnup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did we get confirmation that he looked?

[–]F14mavrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe if the man hater didn't want the attention, she should cover up.

Oh what am I saying, smh... Women should be able to walk around naked without being objectified. 😂 😂 😂

Lets wait for the sexual harassment lawsuits coming to a newsroom near you.

[–]Grantuseyes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Isn’t that the whole point of wearing an outfit like that? If you didn’t want people to look, you would wear a jumper surely?

[–]CryptographerSuch986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she didn't want anyone to look she'd cover them up. She wants people to look!

[–]Individual-Home-8716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would let Tom Hiddleston oggle my boobs any time. My husband is aware of my Loki fantasy. I am aware that although my husband still finds my 54yo boobs attractive Tom Hiddleston probably wouldn't.

[–]Willzohh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If men don't look then she wasted her money on that designer outfit.

[–]fatninja80085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright let's be real here. Your tits are hanging half way out and you expect me not to look?

[–]Impressive-Name3146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

K so I’m not 💯 sure so if someone does read lips, does he ask if they’re real and she replies yes or am I just super stoned?

[–]SheepdogFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replace Tom with Danny DeVito and it becomes creepy.

[–]NevideblaJu4n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're only allowed to do this if you are as attractive as Tom Hiddlestone

[–]GoldSuitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of us guys ought to be dragged over the coals for doing what's natural and pretty much ordained by nature. Mess with it and you're spitting in Mother Nature's eye.

[–]Introverted_Extrovrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goddamnit Tom. You got caught by to lady, by the cameras, and by your own sense of shame. Dude, it’s really hard to fail that badly just for a quick glance. The fuck are you doing dude….

[–]jamessmith17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When Hiddleston does it, it's cute and funny. When I do it, I'm a pervert who ends up on another database.

[–]PotentialNecessary49 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

How can any healthy male NOT look?

[–]Boney-Rigatoni -3 points-2 points  (1 child)

“I saw you, you dirty little English boy… {wink} “

[–]NecroNormicon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Now kith"

[–]TheOriginalSamBell -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Can't blame him. Most attractive actress in Hollywood currently.

[–]Amazing_Swordfish206 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They fucked

[–]Dra-goonn -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

If the apple cart is open for display, don't get mad when people take a look

[–]Speedhabit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, because you walked into discount stripper outlet (DSO) and said “let me get a dress that will showcase my intellect”
