I don‘t know if name guessing is any fun to you. I really love it and I have been right or very close many times, mostly with regard to non-celeb babies though.
The Bieber baby is gonna be here soon and I think Justin and Hailey have chosen something extra or at least a bit extra and multiple names:
Cassiopeia Orion topped of with some old-fashioned name like name like Ann, Rose or Erica if it‘s a girl
Phoenix Elijah Dawson for a boy
Or are they gonna go the normie way: Hannah and Jack or something like that
What do you think?
With recent releases like “Lunch” and “Good Luck, Babe!” it has me thinking about hot chick appreciation anthems. What is your favorite?
My anecdotal throwback story is to when I got Katy Perry’s album “One of the Boys” for Christmas one year because she had heard me talk about liking the song “I Kissed a Girl.” My response was - mom, I like that song, but I don’t like it like ~that~ cue awkward foreshadowing
It seems like Lindsay Lohan is on top of the world these days. Shes had two successful Netflix movies (Irish wish and falling for Christmas) and freaky Friday is getting a mi h anticipated sequel. She also had a mean girls themed Walmart black Friday commercial. Not to mention she’s a mom and her baby just turned 1. She has a line of baby clothes too.
In the past she hasn’t been as successful though in trying to get backon the map. After a string of crazy successful movies in the early 2000s (mean girls, freaky Friday, confessions of a teenage drama queen, just my luck), she lost her mojo and went on to do random projects.
After attempting to stage a comeback as Elizabeth Taylor in the 2012 Lifetime movie Liz & Dick and in 2013's The Canyons, Lohan left Hollywood behind and resettled in London before later moving to Dubai. She then became an entrepreneur when she opened two nightclubs in Greece, ultimately staging another comeback with her own MTV reality show, Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club, which ran for just one season (following in the footsteps of her notoriously shortlived reality series Lindsay on Oprah Winfrey's OWN). She also served as a judge on Australia's version of The Masked Singer. In 2018, She was even the spokesperson for lawyer.com for a brief time weirdly. In April 2020, Lohan relaunched her music career, releasing the pop single "Back to Me," which came almost 16 years after the release of her debut album, Speak.
This 2024 comeback feels different though. What do you think is contributing to her recent success? New manager? Different approach? Different audience?

I love it when older movie stars, musicians, athletes, etc. promote the work and/or have a supportive friendship with younger stars that fill a similar niche to theirs. Recently I've seen it with celebs like Tom Cruise & Glen Powell ( amuse the shit out of me) some folks saying the same with .
Who are some younger celebrities that you see as spiritual successors to older celebrities? (Bonus points if they are friends/collaborators irl)

If you don't understand what I mean, an example of this goes like: A celebrity gets into a scandal. As a reaction, someone would then say "omg I've always gotten bad vibes from [said celebrity]" or "never liked [said celebrity] anyways" .
Whether it’d be through massive scandals or something minute in hindsight, who is a celebrity that people started claiming they never liked after their downfall? In particular, I'm interested in cases where the main downfall was not caused by the celebrity in question doing something illegal.
Just like the title says, I’m looking for your best pop culture related video essays! I haven’t really ever been a YouTube video watcher but recently I’ve been getting into it, I watched D’Angelo Wallace’s and am officially down the rabbit hole, ready to expose myself to more pop culture opinions.
I’m open to anything from gossip to deep critical analysis, biased or unbiased, from normal to crazy conspiracy -- I’m ready and willing to learn about other peoples takes on pop culture related things
I had this conversation with a friend.
People like Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber are SO famous. It’s hard to imagine someone being MORE famous.
But people like Tom Cruise, Margot Robbie, Zendaya are also SO famous.
In terms of fame, who tends to get more of it; actors or singers?
