Is horror the only movie genre that no one gives you crap for hating? All horror fans are like "yeah, totally get that you hate it" instead of trying to convince you that your opinion is wrong
People in my friend group like to watch movies together. There is often someone who will say something like "let's watch a comedy" and someone else will always say "Ugh, can't stand comedies" then a argument will commence about why comedies are good/bad. But I have never met a horror fan who gave any pressure about not liking horror. Musicals may be close but fans always try seem to say "but the music is SOO good"
