• MW SHOW WAS THE NICEST CROWD I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED

I’ve been to a lot of shows, different artists, genres etc, and in different countries, but I have to say the nicest crowd I have ever experienced was at the Morgan Wallen show in Dublin earlier this month.

I’ve never encountered such warmth, courtesy and like inclusion? I went alone because I couldn’t miss him playing here for the first time, so that was a little daunting, but I had THEE best time. The girls sat beside me were so sweet and friendly. The vibes were so good. Everyone was so cool, taking care of each other and helping each other out, even down to holding doors just general manners. I was like damn!!!okk?!?

I honestly had such a blast, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Morgan was incredible, the show completely surpassed my expectations, but I also really appreciated how cool the crowd were 🫶🏻 just came here to share that. I hope that’s everyone’s experience!

Hey all,

I don’t care personally, but trying to get my dad to go to a Jason Isbell concert — he’s a crotchety old man (said with love), and doesn’t want to go if Jason is going to pontificate from the stage about current events / politics in general.

Can any of you guys confirm whether that’s a thing or not?

I realize this is a ridiculous question.

I reported to a user as to why we locked a thread and the mod team decided that I should copy and paste it to a thread so everyone here can see it. Transparency is key here. We all fans.

For the record, the allegations are scummy and yes I've heard of it on the scene outside of Reddit as well.

(Also one post was removed for cross-posting from this sub but we re-approved.Nothing to do with the content.)

Here goes nothing:

Good afternoon,

There was already a post on the sub that devolved into name calling/breaking subs rules. Also witch hunts go against Reddit TOS (not the subs). Regrettably, unless there is clear cut evidence and/or reports to authorities, these types of post devolve into witch hunts...even if we all know the guy did in fact harass women... It's a Reddit TOS issue.

These post, in the past, have devolved into "he said" "she said" hearsay. There was a post in question during the EU tour where people were accusing the women of making it up or straight up saying she deserved it. Shit even I got threaten over DM for being part of the problem when I was in Colorado during the show in Germany(? or Denmark?) in question.

the guy is scummy and weird. However, IMO having a post regarding the safety of women at shows and how to prevent assault/getting drugged (dosed) and general information regarding the safety of women is perfectly fine (like avoid the people on the rail, don't give your number to random people you meet at shows. Some more common sense the others). Giving this asshat more publicity, positive or negative, is kinda not the way to go about it.

We locked it because if we let it sit, mods would be accused of doxxing and letting "made up allegations" (they not made up but again we have no "proof" which I interpret as the reddit rule) on the sub. If we full out delete it, then it comes off like we are friends with this dude.

We try very hard to be handsoff on this sub and let downvotes decide unless it goes against subs rules or reddit TOS. Your post is bringing to light the fact this dude sucks. I think leaving it at that is the best option for the community (from the other comment section mods decided this way to go). So we decided to keep your post up but lock the comments at the two that are there for information.

Just FYI: We are fans like you, no way affiliated with Billy or his management or team.

• Why has Faith Hill not made a new record for 20 years?

Faith Hill is, IMO, one of the greatest female vocalists of any genre but she seems to have taken a conscious decision to stop making music. Aside from the ill-advised duet album with her husband which suffered from weak song-itus her output has been more or less nil. I do know that a whole album of new music was basically shelved for some reason about 10 years back (why not just release it!)

Surely there are millions of us like me who love her soulful voice and would really like to believe she still has music left to make.
