The Confederate flag made it deeper into Washington on 1/6/21 than it did during the Civil War by nomadofwaves in pics

I wonder...

Political expediency?

Let me be clear: people who committed crimes on the 6th deserve punishment to the fullest extent of the law.

At the same time, I believe that some of the people who entered the Capitol did so with pure intentions, and clearly with the assistance of law enforcement.

I don't think the full picture is being reported on. I hope the Congressional January 6th commission can get to the bottom of it!

The Crime of the Century (2021) - This series is a searing indictment of Big Pharma and the political operatives and government regulations that enable over-production, reckless distribution and abuse of synthetic opiates. [01:51:11] by Missing_Trillions in Documentaries

So if Big Pharma unintentionally harms people for any number of reasons, like maybe getting a vaccine to market faster than any other time in history, those injury cases are paid out using the money we pay in taxes?

That's one hell of a deal, no wonder Congress loves pharma stocks! Lol

Your question is framed in such a way that I cannot provide exactly what you are asking for.

Any publication can make claims about a Project Veritas story being false. The real question is whether or not those claims can stand up to scrutiny.

Veritas has a 300+ episode series in which they recap the multitude of times a publication has made false and defamatory claims about their videos, and was then forced to issue a correction in lieu of legal action. Here is one of those videos:

https://youtu.be/yDLxqGkjZXg

If you want to limit your exposure to O'Keefe because of how you feel about him, the most relevant section of video is from 2:29-6:33. I'd recommend watching the whole video, but I'd understand if you just want to watch the relevant bit.

I used to share your opinion on Project Veritas. I'm well versed in all the criticisms levied against them, because I myself used to believe them and used them to justify ignoring and trashing the information exposed by the work they did.

Then one day, I decided to evaluate the information in the videos for myself, and discovered just how bulletproof their track record was.

All I ask is that you attempt to look at the motivations behind these publications trying to discredit PV, and evaluate Veritas' true track record. 350 "retracto" videos, and they've never lost a lawsuit.

I hope this information exchange will at the very least demonstrate that the situation isn't as black and white as you may have thought.

I also hope that regardless of how you feel about PV we can come together and laugh at whatever this performance was that O'Keefe put on at Turning Point USA.

Literally never? That's quite a statement. A factually incorrect one, at that.

If you are so blinded to the truth that you actually believe what you wrote, there isn't much of a conversation to be had here.

I'd ask you to actually watch their videos rather than outsourcing your thought processes to media outlets who have repeatedly been legally compelled to retract false claims made about Veritas. Hundreds of times.

And of course their videos are heavily edited. Each video has to condense hours of hidden camera video into a format that is somewhat entertaining, and far shorter than the totality of the footage captured.

Please learn to think critically, friend. Might the news outlets smearing Veritas have ulterior motives? Might they be incentivised to defame a small company that continuously demonstrates how woefully inadequate their coverage is, despite having many more employees? Might they be butthurt that no matter how hard they try to smear Veritas, they accomplish nothing?

Best of luck to you. Merry Christmas!

Interesting, are you treating every commenter who disagrees with your worldview as a monolithic entity?

First off, you clearly do not know what I'm going to say. You clearly know nothing about me, yet you feel you can assume you know my employment history. You are wrong.

You also blatantly state you are going to make an assumption that I am ignorant on the issue for some reason. You have absolutely no basis to make that assumption based on your knowledge of me.

Did I say "you voted for this"? Did I say that this policy is the sole cause of the crime wave parts of California are facing? Did I say that police are the answer to the problem?

If I can offer some advice, don't treat everyone who thinks differently than you as part of the same "enemy" group. And ask yourself some questions before you label others as "unquestioning".

Or, keep looking foolish. Your call.

Good luck in life.

Former Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley said that the introduction of Prop 47—which allows thieves to steal $950 worth without being arrested—is the cause of the spike in retail crime.

I only discussed one main topic. It's a recurring theme throughout my replies to this post.

If the general population is fighting amongst itself, convinced that their fellow citizen is to blame for their problems, then the real cause of many of our problems goes unchecked and unaccountable. The people in powerful positions around the world know that, and use it to their advantage. The term divide and conquer exists for a reason.

Once we recognize that infighting benefits the people making all of our lives miserable, and we make a concerted effort to rise above artificial divisions to better the situation of the human race as a whole, we can solve a lot of our problems.

That's the topic.

I do.

It's precisely this.

Arguing the definition of gish gallop instead of answering the first question I asked you. Misdirection through irrelevance.

Keep trying to derail conversations that may result in actual change, everyone can see that you are not acting in good faith.

I wish you well friend, but I will no longer entertain this method of distraction. If you want to engage in a good faith conversation about the actual issue at hand rather than attempt to squash the conversation in its entirety, I'll be here.
