Don't provide it willingly unless your company has an employment clause claiming ownership of code produced. If they do, check if it's only on hours, company property, etc, and then plan your defense of your ownership. Then offer a license of your software to your company. Make them pay you.

It makes sense. NATO doesn't want to start world war 3. If Russia attacks a NATO ally or otherwise does something to instigate wider war, then NATO membership for Ukraine is meaningless as those actions will prompt NATO member action and trigger the rest of NATO to join.

NATO membership is nice, but not a requirement for Ukraine right now. They're getting the maximum they can without Russia instigating worse things
