They don't butter their sandwiches across the pond. This is what happened when my Dad asked for his to be buttered by jelinski619 in CasualUK

I butter many variety of sandwiches but not all of them. Ham and Swiss baguette with butter is amazing though.

It most certainly would, a high quality automotive UV clear coat would work great.

You think you can spot people's political ideologies based on how they dress? I mean I guess if they're wearing a maga hat, but otherwise no, absolutely not.

Wait having a professional stove is privilege now? I thought privilege was something you were born with, not something you bought because of your profession?

I sure do, 91% of US citizens are insured. Here is an article from Feb 2023.

You need to shop around if you're paying 300 a month with an 8K potential out of pocket maximum. I just went to Healthcare.gov and looked up plans in a 5 different states and did a comparisson, on average with a $300 premium you're looking at a 2-4K out of pocket maximum. If you want to spend $120/month you're up in the 8K range of out-of-pocket max.

Yeah agreed I don't know why i'm being downvoted because the cost still isn't ten thousand dollars.

Yeah, I said it's still a problem. But payment plans at the hospital will help, so will filing a civil suit against the other parents.

You didn't refute anything I said, I'm saying that people on here always assume everyone has to file bankruptcy for bruising their knee in the US and it isn't like that at all. It's complete sensationalism.

Why does everyone on Reddit think all Americans have to pay 10s or 100s of thousands of dollars for medical care? Most have insurance and the yearly out of pocket maximums are like 500-3000 dollars and you won't be hitting those even with a broken nose.

It's gonna end up being 300-600 dollars to fix even with surgery which is a problem but you aren't gonna be broke and just about every single hospital accounting department will let you setup a zero interest payment plan.

The entirety of the porn industry disagrees with you. Honestly your post reeks of virtue signaling. Consent and vulnerability are the most attractive things? Only on Reddit would this be upvoted.

Dad finally realized how out of touch he is by Mr_Vorland in antiwork

[–]enolja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well yes, and I agree banks should be smaller overall, but it would be very very bad for our economy to not bail them out. These things are all interconnected and all of our largest banks failing because of a mortgage crisis would be very bad for the poorest people first, long before the richest felt anything.

Maybe, but unfortunately for you, mortgages are bread and butter for the big banks. A major housing crash may not help you buy a house at all. I know it seems like it would but it will hurt everyone, a lot.

Kid was hacking but still got killed by JohnW305 in pcmasterrace

[–]enolja -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I hacked a lot in CS and built some of my own hacks for other games, PubG, DotA 2. I didn't really enjoy using the hacks all that much I guess, just used them for a couple days to mess around and see how they worked, I would get banned and find or build a differ loader or injector. I was mostly curious about how it all worked and thought it was neat to see under the hood of the game a little bit. I was never really highly ranked at any of those games and I don't really play games any longer, but learning to code a bit was fun and going through all of the failures as your WoW gathering bot runs itself off cliffs are good memories for me.

It's pretty wild if you actually think that, I'm not sure how long you've been in the working world or if you've met any C-suite execs but they're all pretty much workaholics and take their roles seriously, especially at companies that have a board or investors they have to please.

They're getting much better now that starlink is in the mix. Crazy how these rural Alaskan towns just COULDNT AFFORD to run cable anywhere until 6 months before delivery of the first Starlink dishes, and now theyre out here like prison labor camps digging trench and tearing up ground putting in fiber. Fuck all these cable providers and their bullshit monopolies on rural internet.

You have to get approval in a corporate environment for anything less than $250-500 as a sysadmin, you need to find a job with a bit more trust I think. I work at a medium sized business and it's like $500 on my company card or expense acct before anyone bats an eye or even asks a question

You used the term physically restrain, not hug. I love to hug my kids, had a good nap today with my 7 y/o son.

I don't care what you asked for, charter a private jet if you want perfect silence nimrod. But instead you expect to be treated like royalty on a commercial flight, newsflash: they let kids on the plane, and crying or shrieking isn't illegal. Maybe write your senator Karen.

[–]enolja 43 points44 points  (0 children)

So many people up in here who don't have kids rofl.

Yes, let's physically restrain a 2 year old on a plane and subject everyone on board to the reactor meltdown that happens when you physically restrain a child.

The video is like 8 seconds long. The parent told the kid to sit. Kid didn't listen, maybe mom or dad was grabbing snacks from their bag, or a book, or a tablet, or ANYTHING that would take longer than this short video clip to do.

Actual toddlers in here judging parents.

😉 by BalorDevittt in perfectlycutscreams

[–]enolja 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Incel reddit out in force I see. Its like a 8 second video clip, were you expecting the parent to interact with the kid in a meaningful problem solving discussion, or disciplining, or provide a distraction in the 2 seconds after they told them to sit down in their seat?

Human babies scream sometimes, that kid is like 2 years old, barely a toddler and people are actually upvoting your BS. I guess one errant toddler shriek is too much for your little toddler ears and sensabilities.

Systems Administrator here, I don't go through anyone's data, there is no time and I don't care about your affairs with co-workers, people are generally boring. But I have in the past searched for emails from my superiors to higher ups using keyword searches with my name and things like that. I've mostly only ever seen positive things. But I did learn once that one of the higher ups thought I was dead weight, but my supervisor shut him down quick, so that was nice.

I also know how much every single person makes. You'd think that would be sensitive data but when I remote into the CFOs computer to help him with something and Passwords.xlsx is open on his other monitor... well.
