Lizard Dodgeball is a dangerous sport. Especially if you play with Quillback.
Yep, lesson learned!
Never try to out-roll the high-roller!
In a perfect world I would prefer a "Second Chances" season like what Survivor did (season 31) - bring back returning teams from across all eras, who have only competed once each but made it at least decently far, and have the final list voted in by the fans
+1 The past winners are already rich. I'd prefer to see teams that performed well, but were stopped short of winning by factors outside their control (e.g. needle in a haystack challenge/bad taxis), as they'd generally be more motivated to win the next time round.
Such a pity that one of those goals is not touching any gold...
Of the Australian Seasons: 1 and 6 had minimal rivalries and all contestants on good terms with each other (less one team in season 1).
Did it end the run?
Yep 💣💥!
Did you have spike boots? If so, blow the platform above him (which might actually damage him), climb down the pole to trigger his stretch attack (preventing his poison attack from triggering}, then bounce on his head. Repeat as needed.
That's a good strategy, especially since their damage scales with fall height.
Spectacle enhanced hindsight is 20/20!
I can't remember if I had the boots or not + was aiming for a speedrun.

Apologies for the late reply.
We've made a couple of mods to increase the rate at which you rank up, so you can reach the harder tiers/missions sooner
Bounty Hunter - Rapid Rank Rising

and Tougher Mobs with Better Loot (though that one also increases durability of opponents/adds some harder A.I. to commanders).
Hope that helps :)!
There's Tougher Mobs with Better Loot.
It increases difficulty by:
Reworking all campaign boss behaviours (e.g. spawning minions/new or faster attacks.)
Giving commander NPCs special powers, such as summoning different reinforcements.
All enemies and npcs have increased health (+40% to +110% depending on tier).
Giving most vanilla enemies a light health regen factor
Well, I happen to know virtually every mod that adds in new space encounters, and they can all be found linked off here. Keep in mind though that these mods all focus more on adding ship encounters than space encounters, and while the K'Rakoth mod will eventually be introducing new space encounters with new monsters in them, presently no mods add in any new monsters with the exception of USE and GiC, both mods I admittedly don't recommend. Keep in mind that many of the mods listed off here add way more than just space encounters though, so do bare that in mind.
Thanks Armok!
Your Detailed Ship Encounters mod is great BTW (I'm subscribed), adds in more lore to space encounters and compatible with just about everything. Nice to hear from a fellow modder: K'Rakoths and Project Redemption look epic.
What mod is USE?
P.s. we were thinking of possibly adding variants of existing mech enemies to one of our own mods "Tougher mobs with better loot", if time permits.
