There was a new couple working out and I know pretty much everyone at my gym. The guy was doing a standard push day and the girl was doing some really unusual calisthenics. This woman had a massive gut but no excessive body fat anywhere else, so I thought she was pregnant(which explained the weird workouts and have a big gut nut no flabby arms or double chin etc). I’m morbidly curious as to how life changes during pregnancy so I go up to them and congratulate them and ask basic stuff like how’s the diet pre vs pregnancy etc. That poor lady looked so pissed as she just sternly says she isn’t pregnant, I just said “oh my bad, I don’t know what else to say”. I quickly leave the gym and finish my arm workout later at night.
