We are currently causing a mass extinction event. Sure long term the planet is going to be fine. But capitalism's inability to look after the planet is going to kill billions of living beings, some of them will be us. Assuming you earn it with 12 million xp left to 99 that means there is 300,000 xp you now no longer have to work for. In some skills that is a pretty massive amount of time. Not to mention you also unlock the better training methods faster.
