There was some type of posting about her selling something and then accidentally it got traced back to her mothers cell phone who has the same last name. I think there’s something about that where people on the sub figured it out for sure that it was Jackie Overton, Mary’s catfish.
You are correct the Shopify account used to sell merch was registered to Della Overton the catfisher’s mother.

This is such a good point. I’ve never thought about Maddie in terms of whose side she took in the divorce, but I can see that. (Which also makes sense as to why Ysabel said Kody has hardly visited Maddie and her kids - likely his ego is too bruised from her supporting Christine). It’s interesting that Maddie seems to be taking Christine’s side, because Maddie always seemed to be desperate for Kody’s approval and was very “pro-Kody”. Like how she named her daughter after him.
So, follow up questions:
Is Maddie taking Christine’s side because it benefits her own Plexus sales?
Or because she’s actually seeing things differently now that she’s an adult and has her own kids?
Or because she supports Janelle who supports Christine?
Or perhaps it’s not that she’s “taking sides” at all - but her just simply maintaining a relationship with Christine is seen as “taking her side” in Kody’s eyes.
So many complicated dynamics in this family haha.
Well we know that Maddie is the child Christine was “spreading rumors about leaving him” to and Maddie told Christine she’ll always be mom and Oma to her children.

The investors they filmed we’re definitely fake but the family did try to find investors for MSWC and that’s how Meri came into contact with her Catfisher. They told her they knew a wealthy man Sam who was looking for investment opportunities.
The divorce. I think Meri pulled it off somewhat convincingly only because she legitimately was distraught about the situation. But Robyn and Kody's terrible acting completely gave it away. It was clearly their idea, not Meri's, and they didn't give a single shit about her feelings.
The divorce was not even supposed to be filmed but when they filed it was leaked by I think tmz then they decided to make it a storyline. It wasn’t going to be a storyline because Robyn “didn’t need viewers to find more reasons to call her a home wrecker” I think the whole adoption thing was just to sway viewers opinions to make them not as mad about the switch up.
