Misandrist is justifiable. Misogyny isn’t.

If British people where half as bigoted as you say, they would never elect brown person as prime minister.

Can you elaborate on IOF? Top results are International Orienteering Federation and International Osteoporosis Foundation, and that doesn't sound quite right. Most of the numbers come from Hamas and usually they don't publish military casualties, so having a source would be nice.

Edit: Found out what IOF means: Israeli occupation forces. Also not the latest data https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/gaza-death-toll-how-many-palestinians-has-israels-campaign-killed-2024-07-25/ , but according to Israelis 14,000 Hamas fighters and 16,000 Palestinian civilians had been killed in the war. So significant differences in numbers.

Yet here we are in 2024, after 75+ years of occupation, oppression and invasions calling it 'complicated' yet Russia's v Ukraine is so simple.

Russian invasion is straightforward imperial ambitions, a war of conquest and genocide. While current attack in Gaza was triggered by Hamas attack where they targeted civilians and took hostages. Response has been asymmetrical but not unprovoked.

The men in my life are not okay and I'm frustrated to exhaustion about it

A lot of my longtime male friends are in dead-end jobs and either single or in withering relationships. Most of them have turned to extreme right politics to feel some sense of power and control in their lives

Almost all my friends are women now and while I love women, I'm hurting from a lack of sane, platonic male companionship.

Not everyone, just majority.

About how many people are we talking about? One, five, ten? You can attribute personal failings, if the issue is with some people. If it's, as you say everyone, then blaming it on personal deficiencies seems counterproductive, since it is structural issue.

The normalization of having your first kid at 35+ is going to decimate birth rates even more, lead to increase autism rates and make things worse for the following generations

topforce

No country is actually going to go "extinct"

I'm not talking about countries, but nations. It's geographical ethnic and cultural in nature.

Thought experiment: Let's look at Germany. There live Germans with their values culture and events. There is immigration from middle east. For now they are minority. If they reach majority, they can impose their values on Germany at large. For example Oktoberfest wouldn't go too well if alcohol gets banned.

Plus, in the U.S., we have mass immigration and automation to make up for native born birth rates declining in the future.

Think about how culturally and politically relevant are native Americans. Considering how much Republicans like to say America is Christian nation, my guess is that they aren't all that relevant. Decline of native Americans have different reasons but outcome will be same.

And Europe will be more affected by this as USA doesn't really have single ethnic identity, while most countries in Europe do.

About what long term planning are we talking about? Without kids a nation simply goes extinct and is no more. There is short term benefit of not having kids as they take effort and resources to raise, but without them extinction looms (not for mankind as whole but cultures who fail to reproduce). And any single individual choice matters little, it's more about how entire society is set up.

Palestinians are largely impoverished and have a high mortality and death rate, hence why their average age is so young.

Even with larger mortality compared to western world, their population is growing(source)

I'm not saying that people have to go into poverty, I'm saying that there are people who manage to have kids regardless of it.

And from the article you provided, it looks like richer men have more babies and poorer women have more babies (more likely single income households). And it doesn't scale well, you have to be a LOT richer for extra kid.

I disagree, look at Palestinians, most of them are extremely poor, but they are fucking like there is no tomorrow and producing metric ton of kids.

If it was deemed important, any western country could afford to make enough kids to sustain themselves. Not going extinct as a nation isn't seen as something important. Otherwise you wouldn't see importing wast amounts of people as a solution. There is more to it, but I don't see how it all fits together.

Comparison is thief of joy, and with social media there is nearly unlimited amount of people to compare yourself against. Probably they where happier, definitely more viable.

Looking at demographics, you could think "the west" is undergoing a major disaster. Things can feel great, but have bad side effects, not entirely unlike drugs.

Doubt it, probably just conscripts, everyone serves in RU military when they turn 18, unless they are rich or have connections.

This is why the question, "What do you bring to the table?" was so absurd and controversial. It's like applying for a job and before the interview asking for a raise. No, first you PROVE you can do the job, THEN we'll discuss compensation.

Have you ever had paid job? You don't ask for a raise, but you do discuss salary and other benefits during job interview.

Men don't actually care about sex. If they did, they'd strive to be better at it and actively learn about female anatomy.

If women want to have sex exactly 1 time you might have a point. If they don't want have sex with you at all, your skills are irrelevant.
