Seems like someone is mad because they stupidly gave someone a great idea for a video then they used it.

Yes he is mad, but rightfully so. It was indeed a risk to send Kurzgesagt the questions beforehand, and this is exactly the reason why. This doesn't make Kurzgesagt's actions OK, though.

Think about it from the opposite end. Your channel has had criticisms levelled at it. Do you:

  1. Let a random Youtuber break down all the problems you have on their channel, and then "react" to it after the fact.

  2. Take on board the problems and address them yourselves, directly to your audience.

I can't imagine why anyone would think the first option would be the sensible choice - especially as there where plenty of people criticising the videos K took down and nothing gives coffee stain the right to own someone elses mistakes for his own channel.

Yeah you are right, he should have addressed the problems himself. But he could have done so without misleading coffee break. He could have also credited him at least. And he could have read his sources to actually address the problems, instead of doing the same mistake again in the correction video.

I created an Android home screen widget for Poloniex lending bot (https://github.com/artemperl/plb-widget)

  • Regularly query the botlog.json file on your server

  • Displays the following information:

    • Amount of currency in your lending account

    • Currency earned from interests since adding the widget to your home screen

    • Average interest rate of your currently active loans

    • Time when the botlog was last updated

  • Additionally displays the value of your Currency as of the current BPI (provided by the Coindesk API)

Some of the features on my todo-list:

  • Provide a prebuilt APK

  • Add support for https

  • Add support for multiple crypto currencies (currently only BTC is supported)

  • Add support for more BPI currencies (currently only EUR is supported)

  • Display the "log" of the botlog

  • Custom refresh rate

If you encounter problems or have a feature request, leave a comment or submit an issue on github.

EDIT: Version 1.0.1a is available for download

The new version is up and it includes most currencies for the conversion rate (including AUD ;)
Wow, I didn't think people would find my work so useful. I included a donation address on the project page now. Thanks a lot!

The reviews are hilarious!

I like this idea and I can definitely see some applications for this. An example would be to use this for online office hours in universities. For this purpose you can maybe add "private floors" where the floor host can give away a url of his floor to the desired participants dropbox style.

Btw your logo reminds me a bit of the Sony Ericsson logo

Nothing. But if you pour the water out, the cup will be dry again.

I don't know why more movies aren't set in Australia. From what I've seen, it's basically Jurassic Park but with insects.

Wait, isn't Avatar set in Australia?
