But shares aren't usually priced by scarcity they're priced by future expected earnings.
In a rational world....
Why do people think everything in economics has to do with rationality? That is not relevant here.
Efficient pricing has to do with the price of a single stock relative to other stocks. But the valuation of the market as a whole can be affected by the amount of aggregate investment flowing into the space. Both things can be true at once: every stock can be correctly priced while all stocks are falling because boomers are cashing out.
Because they haven't even begun to actually study economics. They MAYBE took a class one time where they studied a few formulas and think thats how it all works. If you think you understand this shit, you really don't.

I'm sure these trillion dollar companies are shaking in their boots
I think that they should simply allow buildings other than single family homes to be built in Seattle. So much of the city is zoned for single-family detached housing, where you're not even allowed to build a small apartment building. It's a massive waste of space.
Partially agree, but also, you have to consider infrastructure; roads, parking, schools, hospitals, grocery stores, sewers, water, electricity etc.... if you want to double your population density, those things need to be mapped out decades in advance. No doubt land could be used more efficiently, but simply changing zoning is not some magic wand.
Sadly, its people everywhere. Even the "bluest" districts are still 30-40% GOP voters. And vice versa.
If they knew that their morgue was out of commission, they should have comped the costs of offloading the body in Puerto Rico, since it seems they were not up to core with a functioning morgue. If I were them, I’d press to find out when the morgue was no longer available, because if they set sail without it in operation then they could probably get more from them due to knowingly violating law.
If it went out while underway, then we are back to the first statement, where they should have comped the expenses to get them and the body back home.
It is probably operating under Bahamian or Panamanian laws where the companies can throw their weight around much more than if they were from the US.
Segregation is worse today than it was when integration was passed
The issue is old wood vs new wood. New wood just doesn’t look like that anymore. We aren’t cutting down old growth very much, and the old growth we do cut down is expensive.
So it could be genuine wood, but you still won’t get super dramatic grain like that now.
Those growth rings are huge, that wouldn't have been an old tree if it were real.
And death by police will increase 5 fold.
