What's the worst "I hate to break it to you" moment you had with someone?

i think that's overgeneralizing.

I've met plenty of people who are chill/laid back but also incredibly productive. In fact, the best project manager I've ever had was this dude named Matt. I was an IT contractor working at a large bank that had to replace over 10k windows desktops in under a year or face millions in compliance fines. Matt was the project manager for the entire rollout and I never once saw him visibly stressed. On top of that despite being the top of the totem poll he was always incredibly approachable and remembered everyone's names, even low tier techs like me. The project finished ahead of schedule and he took us all our for 5 star steaks at the end, which he paid for with his own card so we could all get alcohol (some weird contracting rules about full time employees from using the company card to buy contractors alcohol).

How I ACTUALLY fixed the stuttering issues on PC

How did you access the restore point? Through an external recovery media? If you got into the OS via safe mode or some other built in recovery method your PC wasn't bricked.

I'm not trying to be difficult, but I don't want other people looking for fixes to be mislead into thinking they might literally ruin their computers.

It'd be helpful if you shared your exact steps.

I have no idea, I don't really know what I'm talking about, but I have a sneaking suspicion its a broken interaction between Unreal engine and windows audio drivers in general. Stuttering has been pervasive across UE5 games for a long time now, I'm really curious to see what would happen if I went back and tried other UE5 games with different audio driver versions. Something like the engine waiting on a response from the audio driver before performing some action which leads to stuttering.

Do you mean frozen? "Bricked" means its completly ruined, i.e. basically a "brick". Updating drivers alone can't brick your PC, there have to be underlying causes beyond that.

if you're stuck and can't even boot into windows try booting into safe mode, then reinstalling device drivers manually one by one.

Also, if you download Snappy Driver Origin through the Scoop command line tool it is guaranteed to give you the correct version. Scoop is an open source platform for distributing software tools, everything in the distribution buckets are audited by a bunch of people. It's the method I used and I've had zero issues.

The one thing my experience in League is good for

Obviously I'm generalizing, if you want to nitpick there are other factors beyond what I laid out, such as how close the fight is, how late are you in the game, will the walker gain you a flex slot (and is that necessary at this point), what are the each teams death timers, etc...

I less generalized rephrasing could be: "If a fight is breaking out while I'm split pushing and I know by not joining I can take at least a walker, but I don't have certainty I can make it to the fight in time to make a difference, unless the outcome of my team losing is guaranteed to cost more than one walker it makes more sense from a cost benefit analysis to keep pushing".

Common thing in mobas. The key distinctinction between "fights you should have been at" and "pointless fights where you're better off splitting alone" comes down to what objectives can be taken if someone loses the fight. If your team loses a 4v5 but only 1-2 people on the enemy live and have to go back to heal while you've taken a walker than it was definitely worth not participating.

The Misrepresentation of ADHD on Social Media is Getting Out of Hand

It's the classic American move, distrusting the right institutions for the dumbest reasons possible.
