How many grocery stores are along the streetcar route? How many pharmacies?
1 true grocery store, Wohlners, and 1 pharmacy for sure, Walgreens. I think there is or was another pharmacy and there's a couple bodega-esque grocery stores.
I went to San Francisco for my brother's wedding earlier this year. We stayed in a little motel and the only options for local groceries were two Walgreens or some little bodega-esque grocery stores. Even for California, the prices were really high.
Given Walgreen's focus on their drive-thru pharmacies, I don't think they can be counted as a grocery store. I'll go check out this Wohlners place this weekend and see what their prices are like.
It's almost like I didn't call Walgreens a grocery store, because it isn't. I'm talking about Cubbies, the Godega, and a QuikTrip (?) over on Capital that doesn't do gas but does have basic goods.
Pointing out how unwalkable an area is as justification for not improving the walkability of the area seems like circular logic.

Have you tried it yet?
Yes, I found it underwhelming because the gyros still "snap" to a grid that it made less smooth than I had hoped.
With out further context this could just be a guy who lives on the street and wanted to get home. It’s wrong to presume guilt.
It probably was, but that doesn't really give them an excuse to drive through the barricade and try to force their way through using the car as a weapon.
Try to reset the deal to a white peace and then select the terms again. Does that help?
I think the only thing they accept is capitulation, Qing is objectively stronger than me but they don't have the navy to reach me. I rolled back the save and tried again with a stronger economy and now I'm in the Qing market, at war with the Qing, and finally fixing my economy. Ultimately I want to form my own market, but last time I tried I was losing £25k/week.
Yeah but in old Canon he also REWARDED those who impressed him.
In new Canon he tends to murder them too.
He'll in old Canon the 501st were highly motivated and loved vader. And he went out of his way to help them.
Now he'll murder an entire squad just because he's mildly annoyed.
Old Canon he had good in him, which was what Luke sensed.
New Canon he's just terrible all the time. They've done some great stuff with him but they need to show the good in him.
In both he also murdered how many children?
Maybe people figured out that eating and watching a movie is a disturbance to everyone involved and the whole experience is just unenjoyable. Forks hitting plates, servers walking in front of you, people that can’t chew with their mouth closed… honestly what is the appeal of these places? Go to dinner before the movie. It doesn’t have to be this hard people.
I agree with you that eating during the movie isn't really how I want to enjoy movies, but being needlessly aggro about it and refusing to acknowledge that other people don't care isn't going to get you very far.
There's a couple solid clubs (we grade on a curve, there's not a ton of competition), plenty of places to eat or drink, there's the art collective, a decent amount of stores to shop at, you could walk in the park (not as great as before thhe construction, but it will be much better in the next year or two when they finish and it's all connected again), there's a couple theaters...
Pretty much the normal "big city" stuff, just mostly on a smaller scale.
Ha. So true. I used to ride my bike to work downtown a couple of times a week and I saw exactly zero other people doing it.I’m all for the city being easier to ride through, but downtown is much easier already than most places.
Oh, well, if you never saw anyone using it the couple times you checked over a week...

Or all the order days I went to work but had to drive.
Well if you haven't seen anything... Or perhaps the world doesn't revolve around your perception?
