You can swap ada for agix on any of the DEXs on Cardano. Minswap, sundaeswap, wingriders, muesliswap. You can also use the singularitynet bridge to bridge from the erc-20 token to Cardano. You cannot buy it directly from fiat anywhere as of right now that I'm aware of.

The epoch is every 5 days, always. You could literally set an alarm to go check your account. I would love it if the apps could send a notification when any change occurs to your wallet but for now an alarm or reminder would solve your issue. If you've ever used Pera on Algorand, it has this feature and I love it. Hopefully somebody implements it.

It was a problem when you wanted to do a bunch of back to back transactions you could get “no available UTxOs” error. You’d see this if you tried listing or changing a bunch of nft’s on jpg.store. I think with the more recent updates to the chain and v2 smart contracts this is no longer an issue. And transactions clear much faster.

No need to claim UTxOs as others stated. You can consolidate them by sending your assets to yourself (same address you are spending from). This will unlock the locked ada in the extra UTxOs and consolidate everything to a single UTxO.
